Description
Scandic Torget Bergen is located in the city centre and boasts one of the best views in town. Both the roof terrace and several guest rooms overlooks on Bryggen, Vaegen and Floeien. The hotel has been refurbished during the last few years and now it presents itself as a modern first class business property. The building itself and the surrounding area, in which the hotel is located, were built in the late 1920's. Originally, the building housed two separate hotels named Fonix Hotel and City Hotel. Olaf Jorgen Strand bought the two hotels in 1969, and united them to the hotel that today is Scandic Torget Bergen. All guest 88 rooms are equipped with a mini-bar, pay TV, and an interactive TV system with internet services. Family rooms are also available on request.
