    Convento do Espinheiro Hotel and Spa allows one dog under 40 kg in designated rooms for an additional fee of €30 per night. Pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor in the Design Wing. Sorry, no aggressive breeds. Cats may also be allowed by request, but all pets must be leashed or crated on the property. Four-legged guests cannot be left unattended longer than one hour, and the do Not Disturb sign must be hung on the door. Pets are not permitted in the pool or spa but are welcome at the outdoor seating at Olive Restaurant and Claustro Bar. This property features a designated pet area near the pool and a Canine Park in the gardens. Bowls and pet sitting services are available on request.

      Safe Stay: Convento do Espinheiro Hotel and Spa has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and meets the Clean & Safe (Portugal) certification for safety and sanitation. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
