Sun of a Beach
Summary:
Boasting 2,400 sq ft of luxurious living space, this 5BR/5BA stilted house combines great amenities with a prime location. Enjoy a multitude of added perks like a private elevator, a personal golf cart is yours to use with a signed liability agreement, and a backyard oasis with an outdoor private pool (can be heated for a reasonable fee upon request), loungers, and an outdoor shower. Additional entertaining space includes a game room, two balconies, and a covered patio with a gas grill. All within a very short walk to the beach, 3rd row! comes with a gas grill and use of the golf cart during your stay.
Please note that while it is a pet friendly property there is a pet agreement that needs to be signed and a pet fee that needs to be paid. Not all pets and number of pets are approved. Please inquire.
Surfside Beach is known for its quiet family-friendly beach. Walk just a few feet for sun-kissed days by the ocean!
The Space:
LIVING AREAS
Spend time together in the main living area, which features a smart HDTV with cable and a DVD player. Two arm chairs and a sectional offer comfy seating.
The game room provides additional social space. You’ll find a card table for four, a mini fridge, 42” TV, Xbox and foosball table.
KITCHEN & DINING
Whip up tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen, detailed with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops.
When you’re ready to eat, dine at the eight-person table, or perch at the kitchen bar for four.
BEDROOMS & BATHS
Spanning two floors of living space, this home sleeps up to 12 guests in five bedrooms -- each with their own flat-screen TV.
Find quiet privacy in the downstairs master suite, appointed with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combination.
Upstairs, the second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, and a guest bathroom provides a jetted tub/shower combination.
The third bedroom has two full-size beds and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the fourth bedroom offers a queen bed, direct balcony access, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
Another king bed awaits in the fifth bedroom. This room includes direct balcony access and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Sip drinks under the shade of the covered patio, outfitted with a bistro table for four and a gas grill.
Unwind in the resort-style backyard, which features a private heatable (for a reasonable fee) pool (measuring 5’ in depth) and an outdoor shower. Four loungers, a four-person bistro table with an umbrella, and four additional chairs offer plenty of seating.
You’ll also find a balcony on each floor; both are furnished with comfy, cushioned seating.
EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS
This family-friendly home provides a high chair, Pack 'n Play, and stroller. (The house is not necessarily child/baby proof) Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for up to six cars (four in the driveway and two under the carport). Your rental rate also includes the private golf cart! The elevator and property is not ADA compliant, therefore, it may not be wheelchair accessible depending on your specific needs. Please ask.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire home except areas marked as owner closet upstairs and the shed under the house. While the home has an elevator it is not necessarily wheelchair and handicapped friendly. Please inquire prior to booking about requirements needed to meet any wheelchair or handicap needs. Not guaranteed to meet wheelchair and handicap needs. Is not ADA compliant. The elevator is made available on an as needed basis only. You must request it in advance.
The Neighborhood:
LOCATION
Walk a mere 100 yards to the beach and lounge on the soft sand. Or, take out the provided golf cart to find the best fishing spots along the coast. Go for ice cream, browse local boutiques, and dine at nearby eateries, such as the ocean front seafood restaurant within walking distance.
For a fun family outing during the summer, head 1.5 miles to Wild Water & Wheels to experience an outdoor water park with soaring slides, pools, and a go-kart racetrack.
Getting Around:
It is recommended to have a car but if you don't you can meet most of your needs using the golf cart, walking, or catching a cab, Uber or Lift.
Other Things to Note:
It is expected that the guest will return the property and all that is included, in the same condition in which it is received besides needing a regular cleaning and linen service. Excessive cleaning and damages will result in extra fees.

2. Pets must be fully house trained (incontinence, behavioral)
3. Pets must be treated for fleas and ticks
4. Pets must be vaccinated.
5. There is a pet fee and it is non-refundable and is NOT an 'extra cleaning fee'.
6. The pet fee is $20 per pet per day with a maximum of 2 pets.
7. You must tell us you have a pet if you plan to bring one.

Pool heat is not included automatically. It is only available during certain times of the year and there is a reasonable pool heat fee that would be added if you choose to heat it. Please inquire if desired.
Depending on your booking provider there may be an accidental damage insurance fee you will need to pay after booking. That fee is $60. Some booking providers include it already in their rates but some don't and then it is charged after booking.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless Policy – You agree to the following upon booking:
Guest and their other house occupants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the Vacation Rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal belongings or theft of property which is made, incurred or sustained by you and/or anyone you invite to use the Vacation Rental as your guest. You stay and play at your own risk. Guests and their other house occupants agree to exercise caution in the pool and pool area, on the deck areas, and stairways. All furnishings and equipment provided are maintained to the best of our ability but since Owner has no control over what guests do or how things are used, Owner cannot guarantee functionality or safety. It is the responsibility of the guest(s) to take caution before using anything and to immediately notify the Owner if an item is not functioning properly or appears to be unsafe. Non-functioning amenities will be repaired as soon as reasonably possible therefore there is no refund promised.
Arbitration -All claims or disputes between the Guest and the Owner arising out of or relating to the Contract Agreements shall be decided by arbitration in accordance with the Construction Industry Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association currently in effect unless the parties mutually agree otherwise. The award rendered by the arbitrator or arbitrators shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in accordance with applicable law in any court having jurisdiction thereof. If the Owner prevails the Guest shall be liable to the Owner for attorney’s fees and costs incurred by the Owner.
*Video camera and recording device is on the property on the exterior of the home only. There are no recording devices or cameras inside the house. It is for security purposes only.
Interaction with Guests:
For the most part I allow my guests to have peaceful use of the property. On occasion there may be some maintenance that needs to be done but I try to keep that to a minimum as much as possible. I live nearby and I am usually available to you if you desire.
