Located in Vancouver*s fabulous west end - two buildings from Stanley Park and only two blocks to world famous Robson or Denman Street. After hours (at 6 pm) check-in was a nightmare. Plan to arrive before 5:30 pm when someone is there. If not you might run into a problem like I did. After talking to 6 people someone let me in.

Rosellen Suites bills itself as a boutique hotel, but only a few of the rooms have been upgraded (the “Personal-ity” suites). These are not available for dogs. Dogs get skanky carpet, dark and dank rooms, marred doors and walls, insufficient storage, and barely functioning windows. We found food under a living room chair and falling out of the kitchen cabinets. The only positives were location, and comfy cotton bedding. When confronted, hotel staff refused to budge on price or refunds. We would never stay here again. PS building was bought by a developer, and interim property managers are cheapskates.
