The hotel is evidently undergoing significant renovation (or just plain old repairs) but this fact was not disclosed when I made the reservation. It was nowhere near complete and the rooms and common areas were terrible. On a positive note it was 98 degrees in Alabama and at least the air conditioning and ice machine worked.

My check-in was great. There were a lot of questionable people hanging out. A lot of coming and going. Which I guess is why the person working next door at the animal clinic was so rude bc I just trying to get my dog to potty on their grass where no doubt other dogs have gone. My dog likes her own yard for potty time but I moved back over to the thin patches of grass on hotel property. The pull out couch had no linens and mattress was tore on one side full length. One of my dogs laid on it only after I covered it but the other one refused and chose the floor. Pool is very small and was crowded the day we checked in. I will not be going back to this one bc of all the shady people hanging outside and where not staying there.
