  Very pet friendly

  Had a great time there. They have a pet park with a water dispenser and easy access from all rooms. Bella enjoyed her stay very much.

  Blast from the past

  Fun and quirky place to stay. Room was adequate. No breakfast offered which they said they changed recently but had a restaurant on site.

  Dirty and dated

  Ok staff was good they replaced the broken microwave for us. The restaurant is ok. The grounds are well kept but the rooms have decades of dirt, murals on the walls are dated, all the controls for the ac/heater had been vandalized. I think they are trying to fix it up and it may be nice in the future. Has a good dog area. We booked two nights and left after one.

  Disappointing

  We were excited to stay at another original Route 66 motel. We have stayed at several in our travels. Unfortunately this one was a great disappointment. We expected the older type of rooms and they were as clean as you can make these old rooms. So the one bone is for the human rooms. The multiple disappointments for pets include a very unsanitary area for dogs. There was no fresh water, there was water on the ground that looked dangerous for a pet to drink. The area was posted “please clean up after your pet” however there were no pet bags or receptacles for the waste. I wouldn’t recommend this stop.

  Kind of dirty

  We wouldn’t stay here again. People hanging in their cars smoking. The dog area in back was just dirt and had no lights so felt unsafe at night. Shower was very dirty.

  Fantastic place for Fido

  Our room was perfect for us and Agnes our English Bulldog. The fenced in area was perfect for Agnes. Excellent place to stay with our pet.

  Poor pet area

  The pet area was in need of a little TLC. It consisted of weeds that were tall and rocks. No green area at all. Of course this is a desert area and didn't expect a lush lawn, but I did think it could have been better.

  Pleasant surprise

  Nice area to walk dogs. Decent size room. Nice restaurant and bar with good food. Enjoyed our stay.

  A fun find

  We really enjoyed the Ramada Inn in Kingman. They gave us a ground floor room close to the dog area. The grounds are just lovely, green, and full of interesting murals. Only complaint is the closeness to the train tracks which might bother some pets (not ours, he’s deaf). Wish we could have stayed there longer! The rooms have been updated and have hard flooring and all the appliances one needs for an overnight. The AC works fine, it’s the average through the wall unit. We will be staying there again.

  Basic accommodations

  This is an old hotel on Route 66, a little kitchy but comfortable enough. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and is both convenient and offers a nice selection. All rooms have been 'remodeled' and the front desk is accommodating. NOT FANCY! But this is Kingman, AZ after all.

  Really cute hotel

  This hotel is so cute! It's painted with movies stars from the 50s. The diner has good food, great beer and they are dog friendly. My only complaint is that the "dog area" is kind of yucky and there are signs on the lawn near the pool "no dog." But I walked my little pooch around the property and found her a comfortable place to do her business. And as always, I cleaned up after her.

  Average

  Room was pretty clean - a bit beat up. Kinda felt like they were pushing out at 8am - cleaning folks were outside of the door. Front desk staff is excellent!

  Courtyard and dog park

  I liked our lower level room that opened right out into the courtyard. There is a small dog park out back but I wouldn't want to go back there at night as nothing else around.

  Good location, good parking

  The hotel was clean, interesting decor. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately there were a few little things that needed attention. A large tv cable running from one room to another, not secured or even attempted to hide. No cable box so we couldn't watch TV. Wanted to do laundry but front desk couldn't get us any quarters, suggested we go across the street to get quarters. They did have cold water and hot coffee in lobby, a few snack machines. Attached restaurant to eat. So no "free" breakfast. Bathroom faucet leaked (not just a drip) onto the floor below the sink/counter. They did have a small fenced dog park on site, all dirt and sand, small dogs would be able to get out under the fence.

  Accessible Location

  Doors to the hotels are on the outside for easy accessibility when it came to pets and not having to trek through the lobby. The place was run down and sketchy. I expected more like the photos but got the opposite.

  OK stay

  I checked in late at the property so they only had one room left downstairs, which is what I needed due to my dogs. The room smelled, so I asked for another room, which I then got upstairs (no elevator). The room was OK, but the TV didn't work and the refrigerator door wouldn't open because of the way it was set into the cabinet. Since it was late, I didn't call down as I didn't want to move yet again, but I reported it in the morning. Overall, the room was clean, the motel had LOTS of Route 66 stuff, and it was OK for the night.

  Great motel for dogs (and their people)

  The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and modernized with plenty of accessible electrical plugs, and it had easy outdoor access - important for late-night outings for the dog. The bed was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was offered from 6 am, but I left several hours earlier so have no information on food choices. I enjoyed the Route 66 art decorating the exterior of the motel. I had no problems with security for my vehicle, a concern for me as I had a car carrier which I did not want to unload. I will stay here on my next trip to Kingman.

  Strange

  This location was clean, but not great. One light blanket on the bed, the room had no decorations, no washcloths. Just strange.

  Nice stay. Pet friendly place!

  Enjoyed our stay with our pets. Room was very comfortable and the bed was great!

  It’s seen better days

  Probably a nice little motel in the 1960s, but pretty worn now. Maintenance is a problem here. Lights didn’t work, outlets didn’t work. Parking layout is inconvenient for most rooms. Doggy zone in the back is ratty. Still, the people are very nice, and they are pooch friendly.

  Dog Park

  This hotel has a lot of character! They have a reasonable pet fee and wood floors. The best part is the dog park located on the property. In spite of its proximity to the railroad tracks, I rated this hotel a 5

  Needs attention

  Wi-Fi was non-functional. Dog play lot a great idea but not clean. Room had very dirty upholstered chair and wall outlets that didn't hold plugs. Noisy gathering outside our room until I complained directly to the people at 11pm. Cigarette butts, broken glass and litter in the parking area.

  Simple, Great For Dogs

  This hotel with outdoor corridors gave everything we were looking for in an overnight stay. I was underimpressed with the aging buildings and no extra pillows available after I asked for them. But most importantly it was clean, inexpensive, and comfortable. Also there’s an awesome, inclosed dog park in the back.
