Nice lodge style hotel for dogs and humans. Ground floor rooms have private entrances with convenient parking in front of room. There is a grassy area for dogs and lots of areas to walk. Hotel is right off highway but fairly quiet even though our room faced the road. Our dog loved it.

We have stayed at this great establishment with our dog 1 to 2 times a year on our drive from Canada to Southern CA and back, over the last 10 years. Our rooms are always clean, the restaurant and bar are great and we can charge our car on site. There are lots of spaces to walk your dog. It's our favorite place to stay. Wish they were all this good.

When I let the front desk know that I had a dog and asked to be placed in a room close to where she can go "potty", they gave me a room on the ground floor with a sliding glass door that led right out to a beautiful grassy area with a (man-made) "creek"! It was so pretty and soothing and safe for me & my pup to relax in :)

Lovely spot. Friendly service. Comfortable room. They say pets are not permitted on beds or other furniture, which doesn't really fit my model of dog parenting, LOL. We put our dog's bed on top of his blanket on top of the bed and called it good.

Location was only a couple blocks from downtown Mt Shasta and really close to i5. Comfy beds with an exit straight to a small grassy area with a larger one to the side. Had dinner at the bar one night and the food was pretty good but the service was even better. Teddy loved it!

Sometimes it is worth paying a few extra bucks. Amazing location, excellent internet, massive parking lot (we were towing a small trailer), rooms were lovely with great coffee, a door directly to the outside which was so handy for the dogs. Had supper there and the food was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.

Very comfortable stay, with a direct outdoor patio exit from room. No treats, bowls, bed, but no pet fee either. We would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling from So Cal to eastern WA and needed a half way point. This turned out to be a great place and they were very accommodating regarding our two dogs. We would definitely stay here again.

I was travelling by myself with my dog and stayed at The Best Western Tree House twice. I had a great experience both times. The rooms were great - loved how they were ground floor and had a second door right out to a patio and grassy area. On my second stay I needed to work on my computer all day until 4pm but checkout was at noon. The front desk staff were very helpful in giving me options where I could hang out from noon to 4 with my dog and be able to access wifi.

Like many others have mentioned, there are two ways to enter the hotel room. One is from the hallway and the other is where you can enter the room from the parking lot. It was convenient to back in and unload our stuff. They had an outside grassy area for dogs that was spacious as well as doggy bags/waste bin. They had a restaurant onsite that was convenient. In some of the rooms, you had a great view of Mount Shasta on the outside patio area. Overall, a great hotel for humans and dogs alike.

The room had two entrances, one from the hallway and another that opened directly to a grassy area where dogs can relieve themselves. There is also a large grassy area next to the parking lot. Treats were given to us at check-in and dogs are welcome to hang out in the lobby by the fireplace. All in all a very pet friendly experience

The Best Western Hilltop was more than Tug and I expected. Check in was fast, our room was a good size with access from the hotel hallway and another door that we could pull right up to in the back. Lots of room for Tug to roam out back, peaceful and safe. Comfy bed, friendly folks and quiet. There is a restaurant on site where you can get take out and they even offered to deliver to our room given I didn’t want to leave him alone in the room. In the morning when we were leaving they offered us a “grab and go” - a complimentary lunch bag with water, fruit and a breakfast bar. It was a nice gesture and got us on the road quickly. Will definitely return on our next trip down. Thank you!
