Location is great as it is a few short steps to the beach. The room was as expected and decent. Towels are old with small stains. Not a big deal for us, but noting in case it is for you. Windows can be opened a little bit to get that nice ocean breeze in (loved it!). The one down side is that our assigned room was near the elevator, housekeeping room, and an ice machine. It was quite noisy in the morning when other guests prepare to check out and rooms are being cleaned.
We were on the second floor, and could hear third floor guests' footsteps. Not sure if the experience is different for other room locations. Were unable to sleep through the night so we ended up checking out early. There are doggy bags and trash bin on property, which is helpful when we take our furry ones out for potty. There are dog friendly beaches and trails nearby, as well as dog friendly restaurants. Love the location, satisfactory amenities. Haven't decided if I would return yet.

Giving one bone because 0 was not an option. We have been traveling down the pacific coast and this is bar far the worst hotel we have stayed in and the most expensive. TV didn’t work, exhaust fan in bathroom has no cover, no bottom in desk drawer, reading lamps between beds do not work and desk staff had no idea how to turn them on. On top of all that, the room has a musty smell. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
