      Cute Hotel in Good Location

      Let's face it! If you are going to get a hotel off of Union Square in San Francisco, expect to pay an arm and a leg (or a paw and a tail). This place is reasonably priced and has a European bohemian look to it. The only downside is that it was loud- I heard barking at night because I was on a pet friendly floor. But complaining about barking at a pet friendly hotel is like going to a movie theatre on "baby nite" with your infant and then complaining you could not enjoy the movie because of all the crying. This is a place for dog lovers to take their pets. Your dog will bark. Your neighbors' dog will bark (and pee on the carpet right in front of your hotel room door). I am sure the hotel cleans the bedding and carpets after each doggie guest leaves.

      Terrible location for dogs

      It’s in the middle of the financial district. You have to find the one park a couple blocks away to let them go. The hotel smelled like urine. We slept in our sleeping bags on the bed and they had a few on top of what we paid for the reservation.
