    Not worth staying

I was concerned about this property even before we checked in. It's located in a questionable area and is not very clean. Breakfast is not free anymore and certainly not worth the $13 dollars they charge. Room was run down, items broken, and not clean by any standard. Had we not driven 1800 miles I would not have stayed. There is no area except one strip for dogs. It made for rough potty walks. I give it no bones.

    Meh

Stayed here our first night in town. Not too welcoming and very limited grassy areas as others mentioned.
Overall it was just meh. Semi sketchy area but seems like that's just the Denver vibes. I would recommend the La Quinta on S Clinton. We checked in last night.

    Fine for one night

The room was fine although the property has a somewhat dated feel. The only issue for us was that the description mentioned a complimentary breakfast. When we stopped by the front desk, the person on duty said that they had ended that in March (2023). The price is now listed for $12 per person so we just checked out and went elsewhere for breakfast. One of the reasons for choosing this property was that breakfast was included, which would save us a bit on this trip.

    Plus and Minus

Big room near the side door, so that’s great. No grassy area that wasn’t completely plastered with poop. Areas immediately outside the side doors were filled with very large stones, so not comfortable for most dogs. Despite being one of the listed amenities, breakfast was not actually included and was $12.50 per person.

    Falling apart

The hotel in general is a bit dilapidated. My main issue was there were no blackout curtains in my room allowing the bright lights of the parking lot to come in and disrupt my sleep.

    Never Again!

Upon arrival, was told that dogs couldn’t stay alone in room. How are you supposed to go out to eat or do anything if you can’t leave the dog? Then we were given a room across from elevator, next to side entrance and the maids laundry room. How is a dog supposed to not bark if you put us in a room next to the loudest area. Did I mention 2 guys broke into our room while we were in it? Correct, 2 guys clearly on drugs pushed the door open because the door didn’t lock properly. Front desk finally put us in an ok room after 3 other attempts. Second attempt was a room missing a fridge and blood on carpet, third attempt was a room that was already occupied. Finally the 4th room was decent. Never Again! I wish I could give it zero bones!

    Convenient Stay with My Dog

A convenient stay close to the highway for my husband, my dog and myself. If I was traveling solo I would have turned right around and gone to a safer area. Questionable things wrong with my room, water damage in the shower, a loose faucet, filthy carpets, and a sharp piece of metal on the arm of the chair in the room. Sketchy area, sketchy men and underpaid hotel staff. The legal cannabis store across the street was the only plus.
