  Good Room Location and Nice Staff

  For a LaQuinta this hotel seemed slightly frayed around the edges, but they placed our room near a back door on the first floor which gave our dogs easy access to grassy areas without having to walk through congested areas. There was also a sidewalk in back of the hotel for a decent walk. They have a decent fitness center and a restaurant next door within walking distance. Breakfast was so so as far as hotel breakfasts, but it begins a 5 am instead of the usual 6 which was great for us still on East Standard Time giving us an early start on the road.

  Great staff, a few issues

  Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Struggled with the door lock reader on doors (our room and the exterior doors). Breakfast was eggs or waffles only - no juice, no cereal, toast, or fruit. Ended up going out to get breakfast. Overall, it was fine. The door hassles mean next time we will look elsewhere.

  This is a nice hotel - we’ve stayed here twice. I wish the doors were thick enough that our dog couldn’t hear people in the hallway, but otherwise no complaints. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave.

  Very comfortable

  King bed was comfy, good AC, good water pressure, nice and clean. Parking is paid but there is street parking available, which is good because we needed space for a uhaul (parked free on street). Pool is down for maintenance and breakfast ENDED at 8am so we missed it. Would've liked a notice in the room about breakfast hours, I was disappointed. Coffee wasn't half bad. Left dog in the room about 5 hours without issue.

  Uncomfortable beds, TV was shaking like it’s about to fall off its stand, locks need updating, paid outside parking. Not many breakfast choices. If you have a reservation for 4 you should have a room with 4 towels and extra soap; people are tired and don’t want to be chasing towels.

  Great location, noisy hotel

  Hotel is good - clean and great location, but it was sooo noisy. We were there on a Saturday night and there was quite a bit of activity in the hallways that felt like the people were in the room with us.

  Amazing staff and green grass!

  I had a wonderful stay with both my pup and a baby and to say the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable is an understatement! There is plenty of green grass surrounding the property which my dog loved, and it’s a beautiful spot! The front desk workers even asked if we wanted a first floor room which we gladly took due to having our hands full! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  I booked here for 3 dogs and called to confirm a month in advance that I could have 3 dogs there. When I arrived after driving 8 hours with a car full of dogs and kids, they turned me away and were pretty rude about it. They have a 2 dog limit.

  Some of the older hotels in the La Quinta chain are very run down and I wouldn’t choose to stay there, but not this one. Bright, clean, updated, friendly and helpful staff, good location. Will certainly stay at this one again!

  Terrible customer service but otherwise good

  Front desk service was absent upon both check in and check out (I had to hunt them down to get help) and then they seemed irritated after I kindly asked for assistance. They were short, rude, and generally unhelpful. The door to our room was difficult to work and the handle actually came off when I was trying to open it. I appreciated a very clean room and bathroom and that both our medium sized dogs stayed free.

  Temple on the road

  Room was OK, smelled very strong like smoke. The bathroom doors were warn out and rotted at the bottom (disgusting). The vanity in the bathroom also was worn out and paint rubbed off (like it was used for people to put their feet on while lacing shoes up). Room needed some attention - mostly smell.

  Two Car windows shattered

  Passenger and back door window shattered in parking lot during my stay. Nothing stolen in car because nothing was in it other than dog hammock covering back seat for travel. Management comped our stay but was otherwise not helpful. Front desk lady said multiple break ins happened recently, but apparently no security was ramped up. No cameras in parking lot. I’m very sad because I loved staying here on my cross country ventures from the Midwest to the west coast with two high energy dogs. The hotel is otherwise clean, affordable, easy and accessible.

  Smells like a sewer

  There was an incredible smell of sewage coming from my room and the surrounding rooms. It was so bad I was looking for a dead body in mr room. It was only later did a member of staff informed me of the situation. I complained to the front desk when I left and she told me call the manager next week.

  Nice staff, very helpful and professional. The hotel was nicely appointed and our room was large. The hotel was close to Ruby Tuesday and proximity to US 70 East. Highly recommend.

  No carpets! Wish all hotels came with linoleum floors. Nice staff. Near lots of restaurants and food. Lots of poop everywhere though.

  Nice hotel, not great place to walk bigger dogs

  Room met my expectations. There is a lot of open land around this hotel but in the autumn there are plants called puncture vine that has sees that are covered with little spikes that stick into dog feet and stick you when you try and remove them. So stay on the grass don’t go into open building lots. Other than this would stay there again

  Wasn’t the best

  Nice hotel and people but that’s about it. Beds trash, the worst I ever slept on; pillows seemed like they was from the dollar store. Our tv kept updating the channels for some reason. The hallway had an odor. The breakfast, more like what breakfast? Nothing for kids, they had dollar tree looking burritos and cereal nobody ever eats; no muffins no juice, just some milk for cereal and water. Won’t be back. And for a La Quinta, even one by the airport, I was thinking better.

  We opted to stay 1 night close to airport for early departure flight and were welcomed as if staying long term!! The staff was amazingly friendly, courteous with shuttle, rental car return & even dinner choices close by! Our room was clean & comfy!! ❤ and, yes pet friendly indeed!! ❤

  Hotel was close to the airport and highway. Located amongst many other hotels so food options were close by. Small area for dogs to use but nice areas to walk around for exercise. Only downside was we were given a room right across from the housekeeping room/laundry room which proved to be very noisy in the early morning hours to my four legged friend that hears Every. Single. Movement.

  Asked for room on 1st floor since we had 8 month old puppy. When checked in got room on second floor almost end of hallway, far from outside. Asked to switch but front desk lady said I couldn’t since it was booked with BringFido.

  Extremely Pet Friendly

  Well we got two rooms booked for us since we have four dogs and we are traveling through Colorado and we needed somewhere to stay over the night. We booked through BringFido, but when we tried to check-in we have a little mishap of only having one room booked. The friendly front desk attendant told us she would make an exception of four dogs for one room because of the reservation mix up. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful dog area as well!

  Great place to stay while traveling with my big pups!

  We're driving cross country with our two large pups. One is a 105 lb golden retriever/German Shepard mix and the other is a 65lb pitbull terrier. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. Would stay here again!

  I love this place. Great location. Clean and friendly. I took away 1 star because as the other reviewers said…the walls are paper thin. Heard a normal conversation from my neighbors, word for word. Great grass everywhere for the pup.

  Clean spacious rooms. No doggy odor. Fenced in area. Plenty of grass for my 5 lb. Shih Tzu.
  The only drawback was their breakfast was just cereal, frozen breakfast burritos and yogurt.

  Beautiful Hotel - Noisy Rooms, bad door opening system.

  One of La Quinta’s newer hotels, this one looks great, but has some hard to understand issues. One is the door security system. They use the slide-in cards for the rear entrance and the rooms. Mine were very difficult to get a green light with., particularly when you have a frisky dog on the leash.
  Secondly, the AC/heating unit was the loudest I’ve ever heard! This kind of unit is often problematic, but this one sounded like an airline making a low pass over the hotel. The room itself is also quite noisy with poor door and wall insulation. Big clue to the problem was the set of complimentary ear plugs on the night stand!
  Grounds are very nice with plenty of grass area for dog walking. Disappointing that so many owners not cleaning up behind pets, but that may have been a Winter problem
  Fix the door opening system and the heating/cooling units and you have a great hotel.

  Lovely hotel

  It was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and really nice. Santi loved the carpeted floors and the nice warm ac. Even though there was a pet area, we didn’t find the entrance to it until we were checking out. 4 bones because they didn’t enforce the mask policy due to COVID 19.

  This was way better than I expected. The room was a great size, hardwood floors (no carpet! Yay!), and really nice. There were quite a few other pets there during our stay and we didn't have any problems at all. Small areas for dogs outside...but plenty for them to handle their business. Would definitely stay again when we head back to Denver!

  I get that coronavirus changed things, but in place of the complimentary breakfast, we received a paper bag of apple juice, a granola bar, raisins, and a wet wipe. I feel like they could have at least included more or a coupon to somewhere local.

  Great Great Room And Dog Friendly

  location was great. away from the crazy city life.
  room was nice and clean (1st floor)
  the back patio was fenced in, and nice and I let my dog off-leashed and he was able to run around.

  La Quinta Inn & Suites Denver Airport

  Room was very clean and large. First room I was put in the TV did not work. Thought it was the remote as I noticed it was broken. Went to front desk and they gave me another one. Went back to my room and it didn’t work. Went back to the front desk and the woman thought the TV needed to be reset so she came back with me. She tried and tried to get it to work but couldn’t. Finally she asked if I would like to change rooms. So off to another room I went. The room was the same as the first and everything worked. Great customer service! I highly recommend this hotel. Very close to airport and if needed, they have special parking for allowing you to leave your car until you return. Being dog friendly is a plus! No carpet so the rooms don’t stink like other dog friendly hotels. Would definitely come back if the need arises again.

  Decent for man and animal

  Only giving this four bone. I use this exclusively near the Denver Airport but this time I had a room that had been smoked in I requested a nonsmoking room. Other than that little voopaw it was decent. Love the courtyard and chocolate chip cookies. Friendly and accommodating and green space for your pet.

  Great location! Several restaurants and shops nearby. The room was very nice and clean! The only thing that was a slight negative was the pet area is at the back of the hotel past the pool. That was not communicated to me during my stay.

  Great location for puppy

  Stayed there last Wed night. Easy check-in even late at night, great location. Room entrances are internal (safer!) Carpeted room. There was a great courtyard area for the puppy to do his business, no need to go out the front doors or parking lot. Make sure to take your room key with you to the courtyard, because the door locks behind you. They also keep fresh, lemon-infused water in the lobby area. Bathroom was nice, large, and clean.

  Recently remodeled. Clean and comfy. The entire property is pet-friendly. Plenty of grassy areas for potty time. Good breakfast options hot eggs, bacon and potatoes.
