Bright, airy, modern and spacious 3 bedroom (2 kings - one also with a single & 1 double PLUS DOUBLE SOFABED) 1st floor apt in a quiet street & good transport links. Beautifully furnished. Well stocked kitchen/diner, lounge & family bathroom. Ample free street parking. Strictly no stag/hen/parties/events.
Attentive Host.
IMPORTANT NOTE: STRICTLY 6 ADULTS MAXIMUM - this is to rule out bookings from large non-family groups (folks coming to the area to party!). I have had to remove guests in the past from our Aberdeen apartment, police involved, etc and have measures in place to prevent this from occurring again so please do not try to book unless you are the right type of guest.
However, we do encourage slightly larger family groups to be accommodated if required 1-2 children/infants could sleep on the sofa /camp bed or in a cot can be provided to sleep in up to a maximum of 7-8 persons in total but the maximum number of adults allowed in the house is strictly 6. This is a house rule. Please contact me with your requirements.

Being well travelled for business and pleasure myself both with and without my children I know what it takes to make a place homely for both adults and kids alike and that is my aim for all of our properties, to create a home away from home for all.
As with all of our properties (please click on my profile and read the reviews for assurance of standards) my objective is to provide somewhere, I would want to (and routinely do) stay with my children. Good quality furniture, linen, towels and soft furnishings are provided throughout and brand new Silentnight 3 Zone memory foam mattresses are provided on all beds with mattress protectors. The exact same type of mattresses are used in all of our other properties which have received excellent reviews from over 100 Airbnb client reviews and countless others from other booking sites, many people saying it is the best nights sleep they have ever had.
Set over the first floor with 3 bedrooms (2 kings & 1 double), family bathroom, kitchen/diner and separate lounge, this property offers excellent living space for guests to enjoy.
We have FREE FAST 100Mbps fast fibre broadband throughout.
Fully redecorated in June 2021 and Bedrooms are as follows:
- Master (front of property) - Really spacious bright room. King size wooden sleigh bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattress plus single divan bed. Bedside tables and lamps. Seat and table in Lovely large Bay window. Wardrobe and drawers for clothes storage.
- Second Bedroom (rear of property) - Beautiful King size bed Beautiful modern King size wooden bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattresses. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large box window. Clothes hangers for clothes storage.
- Third Bedroom - Note this is a snug room, you walk in and the bed is pretty much in front of you and against the wall with the box window, but its beautifully decorated and with a lovely window letting lots of light in during the day (front of property) - Beautiful double size bed Beautiful modern King size wooden bed with brand new Silent Night memory foam mattresses. Bedside table and lamp. Lovely large box window.
Ground floor:
The secure front door leads to a lobby with space for boots, outdoor clothing etc. Stairs to the First floor.
From the kitchen, the back stairs leads to the back yard, via a secure door where the wheelie bins are stored.
First floor - other than the bedrooms described above, which are all accessed off the front landing, there is also:
Lounge - to left from first-floor landing top of stairs
Comfortable and spacious; with window to the rear with wood effect flooring and a lovely gas fire and hearth creates a beautiful focal point. Comfortable 3 seater leather sofa and FULL DOUBLE SOFABED ensures that you will have lots of comfortable seating to relax on. Please use the selection of local information provided on the sideboard to plan some activities if you are visiting for pleasure. 43 inch smart TV with Netflix, etc.
Kitchen/dining room - straight on from the lounge.
With wood effect flooring, kitchen has 60:40 fridge freezer, Hotpoint HAG 60 gas cooker with 4 hobs, grill/top oven and main oven, BOSCH microwave, kettle, cafeteria and toaster. Also has Zanussi Jet system turbo dry washer/drier (with detergent) with iron/ironing board, cleaning products/utensils. It is very well equipment with good range or pans, casserole dishes, etc. The large dining table sits 4 and 2 trays are also provided.
Also please help yourself to the range of take away menus provided (especially the menus from the world renowned Indian restaurants/take aways which line Ocean Road!!).
Main Bathroom - through from the small back lobby from the kitchen.
Family bathroom with mains fed (from our brand new combi boiler) shower over bath, towel radiator, wc, wash hand basin/storage drawer and finished off with tiled flooring.
There is ample on-street parking right in front of the property.
Guest access
Bedrooms will be locked off for smaller groups.
Interaction with guests
I live in South Shields so will try to meet and greet guests (if possible I will collect guests arriving by metro from Chichester station - if not its only a 5 minute walk or cabs are always at the station!) wherever possible and if they would prefer this by prior agreement. However, as I travel regularly I cannot be guaranteed to be around to meet in person but I have support for all of my properties and I am always available via telephone as and when required. Please enquire if you have any questions. Please feel free to contact one of us on the contact numbers provided in the information pack if you need any further information or have any issues during your stay and we will be glad to help and resolve anything that may crop up.
Other things to note
Guest type: The property is strictly not for events/parties (unless by agreement with myself), or for guests who will not respect my neighbours, specifically in terms of noise. Strictly no events (I.e. photoshoots, etc unless by prior agreement). I have lovely downstairs neighbours who help me with the property and are my friends. Please do not book if you are not confident that the whole occupants will keep to this throughout your stay. If the are noise issues guests will be removed. I had to do this in my Aberdeen apartment with Police involvement and it is not an experience I am keen to revisit...
Access: We are on the first floor so use of stairs is essential to enjoy our apartment.
Check in: Please note we use a self check in service which allows a good level of check in for guests arriving late. Although I do try to meet guests whenever possible please note it is not policy to greet guests on arrival but I always ask guests to contact me once they are into the place and to confirm that everything is to their satisfaction or otherwise so I can resolve any possible issues satisfactorily.
Dog Policy: As South Shields is renowned for its beautiful beaches it is a dog lovers haven. Well behaved dogs welcome but definitely not allowed onto the chairs/sofas or rooms with carpets. Please contact me before booking if you have dogs to provide assurance that house rules will be followed. A nominal fee of £10 per stay per dog is charged to cover potential cleaning work to ensure all dog hairs are removed by our cleaning professionals prior to next guests arriving.
