We were given a choice of rooms, none on first floor. One on 3rd floor by elevator about 100 yards from grassy area. Not well lit. Second on 2nd floor as far from the stairs as possible and a 2.5 flight descent and ascent to outdoors. Won’t be coming back here. Breakfast was good. But not good enough to compensate.

No hassle over two medium sized dogs. There's a huge field where I was able to safely let my dogs run and play. Room was comfy. Breakfast was iffy but you can't have it all! It's also within a 15 min drive to a great fenced park.

This hotel was ok. Found some ants in our room and the refrigerator didn’t work. Someone propped the outside door open with a rock which concerned me for security reasons. But overall, not bad.

We stayed in many hotels on our trip from Massachusetts to Florida and back. We travel with our two small dogs. This hotel was by far one of the best of the trip. Room was great, no funny smells and bed was very comfortable. Pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The lobby and common areas were nice, but our hallway was a little rough. Room was decent, but bathroom needed to be redone - tile looked old, toilet rattled, water pressure was terrible. I'm guessing they put the folks with dogs in the shabbier part of the hotel. They do have a very large grassy area to walk your dogs with poop bags provided. We were also allowed to leave the doggos in the hotel when we went out. Overall not bad for a 3 bone hotel, but I've stayed in much nicer places for the same money.

We evacuated from St. Petersburg to flee hurricane Ian. The hotel was truly pet-friendly (i.e. patient with barking dogs, had a nice open field to walk dogs, etc). It was clean. The staff was amazing. And it had a fantastic breakfast.

Everything except the AC/Heat was great. That was ancient and cobbled. Even though it was cool, we just turned it off and that worked fine for us.

The best part of this hotel is how pet friendly they are. The hotel itself is a little tired and probably in need of updates, but it’s clean and well laid out. The grounds are great for dogs, a nice mowed field adjacent to the property. I’ll definitely be back.

Card keys for room door and outside door very difficult to open. Card readers are very old. Other than that everything was fine. Breakfast was pretty good.

We would definitely stay there again. They have a LARGE grassy area behind the hotel for the dogs. We were able to throw the ball for our dog so she could get some much needed exercise after our long trip. The hotel was nice for us too. Clean and room was good.

Room had some issues. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Shower water was tepid at max temp and the water flow was a trickle. Hotel is nice otherwise but they have some work to do to get back to 5 bones.

The Best Western was an enjoyable experience for Jack and the family. The room had carpet but it was roomey. The only thing I learned from this outing was to ask for a first floor room near where you can pull the car around and grab dog necessities. We were put on the 2nd floor away from exit door to run down and walk the dog. It was not a major issue but something to keep in mind before your next reservation.

My key didn’t work 3 different times - walked the dogs and couldn’t get back in. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner. I’ll supply photos of the dog area - long grass - not impressed.

This is one of the best locations we've stayed at with our dog. The rooms are nice and big and it's very quiet. A big field on the side of the hotel with ample room to walk the dog.

Great location right off highway but you would not know it! A sprawling complex with large areas for dogs but watch out for the fire ants in the field! (For northerners... Fire ants can totally ruin your vacation!). The entire place is clean and polished. The rooms smell delightful! The staff were all very friendly. Will stay again!

We recently stayed here because we needed to bring our Golden Retriever to University of Florida for medical care. The hotel itself is nice, the staff was always very friendly. The breakfast is good, plenty of options. The rooms themselves were a little small, the bed was really firm. The restaurant attached to the hotel was decent, they are the room service that is advertised. Rather convenient, they delivered right to our room. The only issue is there was not a space to be able to walk our dog so he can do his business. We used the grassy lot that the restaurant uses for parking. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Lobby and outdoor space is nice. Room is not very clean with a drop ceiling in the bathroom, dust in the corners, needs a serious gut job. On the plus side great big field next door where your dog can run around and get some exercise and good breakfast.
