  A dump!

  Room smelled. Not clean, there was dirt in the corner in the bathroom. Trash bags overflowing outside by the pool area. Run down facility, don’t stay here!

  Pleasant staff but very run down facility. Mold on bathroom walls and ceiling, dingy gray “white” towels, stained toilet, silverfish in room. Some rooms appear to be getting renovated. Not Wyndham quality at present.

  Not ready for occupation

  TV, internet and microwave worked well. Room appeared clean but floor turned my wife's feet black in just a couple of hours. Little coffeemaker came only with cups and decaf coffee; no regular coffee, no sweeteners, no creamer, no stirring sticks. Had ice machines but no vending at all and nothing within more than 1/2 mile. Dining room offered the usual fare but included scrambled eggs and sausage links which sat all morning in a steam tray that does not work, evidenced by the solidified sausage grease.

  The dining area rest room dispensers for toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and seat protectors were ALL empty for the entirety of our stay. Water was shut off midday without notice for several hours which the desk clerk attributed to repairs. The outdoor areas are very well lit which the drapes do not block out. There is more to note but I am out of patience and writing this just reactivates my annoyance.

  Worked fine for us

  This trip to Florida from Illinois was to have been an extended conversion van trip for us, but my husband couldn't make the trip. Instead, my son suggested he would go with me, but we needed to stay in motels. I tried to find modest price motels, but it's hard these days! This one worked for us, at least as well as the pricier motel in which we stayed. There were no 1st1st-flooroms due to renovation. I wanted to do some laundry, and the good news was, there was a laundry room two doors down from us. The bad news was, it was dysfunctional. We were on the highway side, but with the air-conditioner running, it wasn't too bad. It didn't feel overly clean, but it was sufficient. The folks here were very nice, though. Staying in my van in the woods would have been much nicer, but this worked fine for us.

  Adequate

  We were not surprised that the room was not as clean as it should be especially during a pandemic. We read previous reviews so came prepared with Lysol wipes and went to work wiping everything down as soon as we arrived. The room was smaller than most we’ve stayed in with our pups. We survived but this hotel would definitely not be our first choice next trip to Gainesville, even though we saved money by staying there. I will say, the staff was very respectful and attentive to our needs.

  Terrible stay

  Very loud if you are staying on the interstate side of the hotel. Our room smelled very musty and the folks above us sounded like they were raving Clydesdales above us. We ended up changing rooms around 1 in the morning. The second room was a little better but I will never stay here again.

  Amazing Place!!

  The people at the Baymont could not be nicer! It's a great place and safe & secure to come with my pets too!!!
