The hotel is nice but dated. The rooms need an update. Since this hotel allows pets, I think it would help to have rooms with tile, not carpeting. Dogs are allowed in the lobby. My dogs did like it there. There were grassy areas for the dogs to go pee and poop. They had doggie bags hanging outside which was nice. The continental breakfast was very nice. They had hard boiled eggs, waffles and such. There’s a very nice dog park about 10 to 15 minutes away. The hotel is in a great location. There’s no cell phone outlets to charge in the rooms. We brought cell phone chargers that plug into the wall outlet. The shower, pool and hot tub were very nice.

This was a great hotel and we especially liked the $25 pet fee. Very reasonable compared to other hotels. This hotel is located directly across the street from ICON Park and next door to the Pirates Adventure Mini Golf. Small grassy pet relief area with larger grassy areas surrounding the hotel. We will definitely stay with LA Quinta again!

Rooms were better than expected. Although, I was only staying the night, for a longer visit, it was close to several Orlando attractions. Definitely would stay there again.

Staff handled big crowds, full hotel, well but walls are very thin so late night noise made by visitors made it difficult to sleep well. Also, had to get room cards re programmed 4 times over a 2 night stay.

The hotel, grounds, and our room were clean! The hotel is within walking distance to a fun outdoor shopping area: Icon Park. We would consider staying here again!

There were no welcoming dog treats or anything special but that was fine. The door did not seem sealed thus we heard every single thing outside the room. Lots of slamming doors etc. We also had issues with the wifi and tv while there. Overall it was a clean hotel and fine for the dogs. It was also just a 20 min drive to the theme parks.

Floors were 50/50 wood and carpet, making cat care easier. Also, there were no hidey holes under or behind the furniture. Perfect for the herding our fur babies at end of stay.

I am grateful there is a place to stay with my two dogs of 38 and 62 pounds. That being said there were multiple issues with the elevators while I was there, my key didn’t work, and the WiFi service was very spotty. The room was clean and quiet enough.

Everyone who worked there was very nice and congenial. The hotel itself was relatively clean, but simply old and outdated. The area for walking your dog is terribly lacking and you have to cross a 4 lane divided highway to get a decent walk for your dog.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable. The location was pretty good and I love to see all the guest with their dogs walking around. Breakfast needs improvement but I’m sure it has something to do with COVID. The key fobs are definitely a problem, the key cards don’t work most of the time. Overall experience was really good.

No hot water, 2 the 3 elelvators were broken, very noisy security staff, no employee attending the night shift at front desk. Do not stay at this hotel it is absolutely horrible

We did not enjoy our stay. Fine for dogs but not for humans 🤪 There was hair in the bathtub when we arrived and the room smelled musty. No breakfast even though the website said that there was. Morning receptionist was friendly, evening shift was not. Location was great but we would not stay again and would rather choose a cleaner and more updated hotel in the area.

Overall, we liked our stay here. The pool was refreshing and uncrowded. There were grassy areas for our dogs to go potty and the hotel lets you leave your pets in the room if they’re well-behaved. It’s also located near a lot of great dining options on I-Drive and it’s only a short drive to Universal Orlando. The things we didn’t like was that the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast (or a grab-n-go option) even though their website states they do and it was included in our nightly rate. Also, our room did not have a mini-frig or a microwave which was a huge inconvenience with dogs and not being able to save our leftovers or warm anything up. That being said, we would stay here again, but we’d probably wait until after the Covid restrictions have been removed by the hotel regarding breakfast.

Room was clean and roomy. Dog walking area was always clean and stocked with bags. Walls are good and sound proof; the hotel was quite full with kids and pets, yet very quiet. Breakfast bar was basic; waffles, mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad.

Staff was great! Carmelo at the front desk came out to play with my pup each time we passed and took an interest in our comfort. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the city.

We were in town for the National Dog Show. The hotel is close to the convention center and taking my German Shorthaired Pointer was no problem. It's within walking distance to shops with outdoor seating, making it all the better.

The hotel is under major construction. That was not mentioned when we booked the trip. Construction noise early in the morning in the hall ways. Pool area was closed and rooms and bathrooms are outdated.

This was a perfect spot for our boys (smaller english bull and dachshund). The rooms were spacious and clean, and staff was friendly. We came at a time where they were making some major improvements. However, it will be great for the future. The hotel was a little dated and they seem to be improving that. Construction was never at a time that was inconvenient.

We had an awesome stay at La Quinta. Room was spotless, easy to reach pet relief area, courteous staff. Our Newfoundland was a star when checking in got so much love and attention. Very convenient location easy to reach from highway and close to shops and restaurants all right there. Highly recommend!
