  Nice big room!

  This hotel is right off the freeway and still a very quiet stay. Our room was big with plenty of room for a large dog bed. Nothing too close by for walking; we did the parking lot and surrounding parking lots. A good stay, we would stay again!

  Nice Motel

  Everything was nice - the room, location, breakfast. The only issue I had is I had to take Pearl out in the morning and it was before 7am and the door is locked until 7am from the outside but that is good for security. We would stay there again.

  Superb Pet Hotel

  Great hotel for pets and for us. The room itself was great. Everything was perfect. It was on the first floor, so dogs did not have to go up in an elevator. Extremely comfortable! Breakfast was superb, the made-to-order omelets are great. Everything about Oxford Suites was great. 8 Paws Up from Irving and Texas Jack.

  Nicest hotel

  During our road trip through four states, this was the nicest hotel of the trip, the most convenient to restaurants and to the EV charging stations. The price was also a bit less than less nice hotels.

  Pawsitive all around

  The staff was super! Our pup, Dalai, is not a fan of shiny floors so when he hesitated to walk through the grand lobby, we decided to go around the back entrance instead (less shiny floors). The gentleman on staff in the lobby came to the back entrance to hold the door open for us. What a gentleman. Thank you. Our room was clean and very nice and both pups enjoyed bed hopping. We’ll definitely come back.

  Friendly staff, great amenities, complimentary breakfast and a fun doggie treat bag. Easy ground floor access to the back door and potty space.

  Great location

  Friendly staff. Horrible acoustics. Could hear every foot fall above us and the party in the hall outside our room was loud until 10pm. Not the fault of the staff by any means.

  Too close to I-84

  The physical property itself was generally fine. It supposedly takes large dogs but I had to sign a form saying I had a small dog at the desk. The breakfast in the AM was very nice although you have to go down into the basement to get it, which is a little odd. There is a grassy area over by the Lowe's where you can walk your dog although no dog bags or designated dog area is provided.

  But if you have a dog, they will likely put you near the side entrance on the first floor. Which is when you figure out that this property is located COMICALLY TOO CLOSE TO I-84. The highway is maybe 200 feet or so from that side of the hotel. There was no sound barrier or anything to dampen the highway noise, and so the traffic noise in the room is completely insane. Like "I put in ear plugs and that doesn't even begin to help" loud.

  Maybe if you luck out and are put on the opposite side it wouldn't be as bad, but we were close to the side door near the Tesla chargers and we could actually feel the wall vibrate when big trucks came by. Basically, the room we were in had no business ever being rented to anyone trying to sleep; it should have been made into a conference room or something.

  Or they needed to put in a lot of expensive sound deadening if they were going to put a hotel that close to the highway. They didn't do that, and so I would never stay there again, and I would strongly suggest you pass this one up as well.

  To be clear, a little noise in a hotel near a highway is to be expected, but this was easily the loudest hotel room I've ever tried (and failed) to sleep in. And it wasn't cheap either.

  Perfect for traveling with your pooch

  Great location off the freeway. If you want to go downtown where all the dog friendly restaurants and breweries are, it’s all within a 15 min drive. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great and included in your stay. Dog parents stay on the first floor so you have easy access to take your pup out for potty breaks. Heard other dogs crying a little when mom and dad left but that made me feel comfortable that we were near other dog families. The hotel is way more upscale and clean then I expected. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. Won’t stay anywhere else if I’m passing through Boise.

  Sufficient

  The doors slam really loudly, so our dogs were up barking at the sounds all night. The dog-friendly rooms *don't* actually have dedicated entrances, so you're all shuttling back and forth through one back door. Otherwise it was sufficient for our needs.

  Best "dog room" we've ever stayed in

  We were thrilled when we walked into our room. Super clean, fresh smelling, and nice comfortable bed.
  Had a fridge with a proper freezer. Will add this hotel to our favorites list on our trips back and forth from Canada to the US.

  Great staff, beautiful surroundings, free breakfast includes custom-made omelets, and so convenient! (The Tesla supercharger for Boise is in the parking lot, and easy access to the connector and the freeway.

  Great location-just off 84 with lots of stores and restaurants near by. Lots of grassy space for potty breaks. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We requested a room away from elevators and activity-got a room at the end of a hall so it was super quiet with easy access to stairs. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend and would go back

  Was apprehensive thinking they were not super pet friendly however when we arrived they couldn't have been nicer. Super clean rooms and very large, always ground floor so great access for potty breaks. Would definetely stay here again. Thanks Oxford Suites for your easy hospitality.....

  Nice stay

  We had a nice stay at the Oxford inn Boise. The staff was very nice and the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Even during covid-19 they served warm breakfast that was very good. The only reason I didn't give them five bones is that they don't have much area to walk dogs and they don't provide poop bags. I bring my own poop bags but without a place to put them you have to put them in the trash to the entryway and I don't like to do that. Also they lock the back doors after hours so you can't get in with the key and you literally have to walk around through the front lobby. I had an old dog and a puppy so I had to do an early morning walk and that was a little inconvenient. But all in all it is a very nice place to stay with your dog.

  The staff was awesome to our Aussie. They gave us a free doggie welcome kit that had treats and a collapsible water bowl.
