Friendly staff and clean, updated room. Convenient and quiet location. We got a room on the first floor by a side entrance as requested for easy bathroom breaks for the dog and there was a small field by the hotel for her to use. This hotel was a great value for the cost. The only thing that could use improvement is their continental breakfast which was very limited and simple. We would stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Four bones for hosting doggies, minus one for putting us right next to the lobby, where the noise kept the dog on edge most of the night. And to all the jerks who don't clean up after their dogs - thanks for ruining it for the rest of us. Red Roof will no longer be pet friendly if you keep screwing it up.

Not very clean, honestly was unsure if they even cleaned after the last guest. It was inexpensive and tolerable for a quick one night stay if you are trying to save money.

The location was great in terms of being close to the highway. The staff was friendly and nice. Only downside is it loud since close to I-70.

Woman at check-in was not very friendly and later when asked a question she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered. The room was adequate and clean for a quick overnight stay. The biggest issue was noise from the interstate. Right next to an exit so big rigs were constantly engine braking all night long. Since it’s the only dog friendly hotel in Troy I would travel a bit longer to find something a bit nicer. Troy was a lovey little town with great restaurants.

A basic room with the necessities. The doggies were happy. Only problem was the window HVAC which, in spite of being switched off, periodically emitted a sound like a big rig's air brakes. I mean loud, at random times, including night time. Only solution was to unplug it.

Person at the front desk was pretty knowledgeable about places around the area. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the building except the breakfast area and pool. Dog park is 10-15 minutes away. The room had hard wood floor, which was nice. Got to see a few other doggos while I was there. The sheets were a bit itchy, but that would be my only complaint.

This was a great find. One dog up to 80 pounds stays free. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. Definitely an easy stop for traveling through and just needing one night!

Planned on staying one night but extended it to three. The room was clean, conformable and front desk was very polite and helpful. No designated dog area but plenty of grassy areas near by to walk dog. This was great location for exploring St. Louis, an easy 20 min drive into city.

This Red Roof Inn hit all the high notes for what one would expect of a RR: wood floors, sufficiently spacious -- not a trucker motel closet -- clean throughout, comfortable bed. And, of course, exceedingly dog friendly: floors as noted, exercise area (though ignore BringFido's "standard" description since that bears no relationship to any reality), and nice staff. Overall, an excellent value, and an excellent property. Highly recommend.

After a long day of driving, we reached the hotel late at night with our one year old Aussie and 16 year old Pomeranian mix. The staff was kinds and courteous. We had a first-floor room with hardwood floors. It was a little hard for our senior dog with hip problems to cruise around. We were right next to the lobby, but the room was quiet. We still kept the t.v. on so our Aussie wouldn't bark. The bed wasn't that comfortable but there was plenty of room for all of us. There were grassy areas surrounding the hotel that made for easy bathroom breaks for the girls. Breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, yogurt, and fruit. It was a good quick breakfast before heading back on the road. It was a comfortable place to stay on our road trip.
