The hotel is very clean and there is a large area to walk your dog around the building. However the staff are not welcoming at all and asked me if I had brought “any other animals“ as if I was hiding an elephant in the closet. It was ok for one night but I will likely choose another location in the future. The extra $30 pet fee is less than some places but still feels punitive.

The dog-friendly room was located very close to an exit on the back side of the property where there was lots of grass. There is a bit of paperwork to complete stating you will monitor your dog and are responsible for any damage, but it seemed standard. I'd stay there again with my pup of travels take me to Mountain Maryland.
