Days Inn by Wyndham Monticello welcomes two pets up to 60 lbs for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Both dogs and cats are accepted. There are five pet-friendly rooms. Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms. There is a grassy relief area on the property. Larger pets may be permitted with prior approval.

Acknowledged puppy at check-in but that was all. Clean room, no coffee maker, and the microwave didn’t work.

Beds are super hard, room keys worked some of the time, ants everywhere, and the comforter smelled like body odor. Water pressure in shower was good and there was plenty of space for the dogs to go to the bathroom, but we Wouldn’t stay here again.

Lesson learned!. I thought that maybe they had updated the hotel since the original review - nope. Smoky and old and light bulbs not working. The saving grace is it is next to some grassy areas, so a quietish place to let the dogs sniff around.

The hotel lobby smelled like urine and was very smoky. The room was so trashy we didn’t even stay there. I would never stay there or recommend it to anyone.
