Checked in late (11pm ish) because we only used it as a pit stop to sleep while driving south. Plastic on mattress & box springs (like never took off covers), very aged (molding off walls, cracks in sinks & tile, pot smelly stairways, smelly rooms-not dog smells). Had to talk my husband into staying the 7 hours we were even there to get some sleep. Next time I’ll spend a little more and go somewhere else.

Funky place on a hill. Pretty run down but clean enough I guess. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet and was broken so kept slipping around which was lame and there was a giant metal thing sticking out under the bed skirt that scraped my ankle pretty bad. I wouldn’t stay there again. Better to stay outside Asheville and get a nicer place for cheaper. The Comfort Inn in Mars Hill is awesome and if also dog friendly, cheaper and super clean and nice. I’d skip the Roadway Inn.

We stayed here on our way home from vacation. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. It was reasonably priced and would stay here again.

The stay was fine. The room was big and nice enough. There was an extra charge for pets, but you knew that in advance.

Don’t know why of all places in Asheville anyone would stay here. People were nice but place was trashy not well kept and just not in a good location at all

I love this hotel & they have an adorable fluffy cat named spanky to greet you upon check in! Dog treats & bags ! There is also list of dog friendly restaurants & dog parks LOVE THIS HOTEL
