  One night stay

  Check-in went smoothly. Parking is great and there are plenty luggage carts to move luggage to your room. The room was clean and odor free. The ac unit was quiet as far as a hotel room unit goes. The refrigerator and microwave worked great. All pets are relegated to the 2nd floor! Unfortunately the people across the hall from us were not responsible pet owners. Their furry travel companion whimpered all night.

  All staff were very welcoming of our travel companion, we would stay there again. We gave it only 3 bones because there was only skeleton crew there the entire stay, the breakfast was very minimal and so so, and we witnessed a homeless person come in during breakfast, use the bathroom, help himself to a food which took with him and no one noticed. We have nothing against people in need but this seemed a bit excessive.

  Clean room, Friendly staff

  The staff at the hotel was very nice and friendly. The hotel is starting to show some age, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The charge for our dog was very reasonable, $15, much lower than the other pet friendly hotels in the area.

  Great stopover

  Patch and I have stayed here multiple times, as it’s become a perfect place for us to stop between bigger cities while traveling. Only an hour from Raleigh but significantly cheaper and right off the highway so you can get right on your way. 10/10 we’ll continue staying here when traveling through.

  Quiet after a long drive

  Definitely a little old and located in an odd, secluded spot, by the highway. Front desk clerk was nice and hotel was quiet.

  So-so

  The room was was clean, the bed was comfy and the staff was pleasant but the hotel could use some updating. There was a hole where someone put their fist thru the closet door and the bathroom fan which came on with the light switch sounded like a runaway vacuum cleaner.

  Large grassy area, but not great overall

  I usually don’t call rude people out, but the woman at the front desk was miserable, despite my attempt to be friendly. I had read another review of updated rooms with no carpet, which I requested in my reservation, but she said they didn’t have any rooms without carpet. Used the back stairway to take the dogs out, and it hadn’t looked like it had been vacuumed in years. The 2nd floor hallway also smelled bad. Room was ok, just tired. Bed was comfortable. Nice grassy area for the dogs. Area felt safe.

  Great place for overnight stop

  Stopped here for a night to split up our long drive. It’s an older building that’s starting to show it’s age, but it’s clean and the rooms have been updated. Free Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast! Staff was friendly and accommodating. There’s plenty of well-mowed grass space next to the building for dogs. It’s not fenced in, but it’s large and fairly secluded. The only downside is the room doors are pretty thin. Couldn’t hear anything from other rooms but noises from the hallway were pretty audible. Definitely would stay here again.

  Quiet and Convenient Stay

  Reasonable price and very clean - except for the carpet in our room. A few seconds off I-95 and it had all the basics.

  Remote location adjacent to 95

  Hotel was nice. Clean, updated. There was literally nothing around it. Breakfast was basic. Traveled with a dog and the property far exceeded many we’ve stayed at.

  Very Clean, Friendly Staff, Perfect For Our Needs

  I stayed here on the way from Florida to New York and it was very clean and the staff were friendly. It is right off the highway and super easy access. Breakfast was great. Plenty of grass area for dog walking. a great place to stop for the night!

  Barely Acceptable

  Carpeted floors filthy. Tile floors missing grout. Overall shabby look and feel. Lousy breakfast. It was snowing like mad or else we would have looked for another place.

  Cockroaches!

  Told front desk in the morning, since we discovered them late in the night. (Figured if we moved, other rooms would be the same) Offered a $10 discount! Gave run around for said discount. Not good enough-yuck.
  Disappointing since I read everyone’s reviews that were good. Otherwise old, dated rooms, floor tiles in disrepair, and hallway carpet dirty.

  Perfect Night Stop!

  This Comfort Inn was the perfect over night stop on our trip from NY back to Florida. This hotel was clean, the staff was so friendly and they were accommodating to our two big dogs. I would recommend to anyone traveling by themselves or with dogs!

  Very Nice

  Beautifully landscaped, lobby is clean and fresh, rooms are very clean and smell pleasant. The pool looked nice though I didn't get to swim. Breakfast was good. Very dog friendly, plenty of places to walk and there are bags and a trash can right by the main entrance which was handy. I had requested a ground floor room if possible but didn't get it, which was disappointing - my dog is afraid of the elevator and getting a suitcase AND a German Shepherd up and down a flight of stairs is complicated at best, but we managed. The room was carpeted, which was a relief for my dog (she hates smooth floors). We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

  Great Location

  The hotel is right off 95N and close to a few restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Also, even with many other dogs staying at the hotel (I saw them checking in) there was no noise overnight. My dog didn’t get woken up or bark at all overnight. Good hot breakfast... made it easy to hit the road right away without needing to stop.
