  See comment above from 4/11/2023. It’s now 12/23/23 and I’ve been in the room for 30 minutes and killed a small cockroach in the bathroom shower and another full grown in the doorway inside the room. Overall the room is clean, spacious, has updated furniture, flooring but stains coming through paint on the ceiling. Room smells fresh. Sheets are very soft, no stains. Staff very nice on check-in. Lots of thumping around upstairs so we’ll keep the TV on to drain out the white noise. Although this is a 4 bone rated hotel, I won’t stay here again because of the crawling bugs.

  We stayed for an overnight for trip from New Jersey to Florida perfect stopover right off I-95. Room on first floor near dog walking area. Decent selection of food for breakfast. Lady that worked at breakfast bar was very nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again with my dog on next trip.

  We checked in very late on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Our room was so clean and the hand towels had been made into pretty shapes. The room was really well set up for dogs and people. The pet area out back was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. Surprisingly yummy waffles! All of the staff we encountered were very kind- including the late night guy when we checked in after midnight. Convenient location too! Also, Bring Fido went the extra mile to let the hotel know we were going to arrive late. Really happy with our selection. We’re staying there again on our return drive.

  The pet-friendly room was on the first floor near the outside door which made it super easy to walk out pups. The flooring was vinyl in our room. Plenty of grass areas and pet relief station.

  Fine for passing through

  Pool was closed. Breakfast was nothing special but well stocked for the duration. Room was fairly large and pullout couch came in handy. Staff appeared hard at work cleaning and to me it seemed clean and paint looked fine, although the structure might be older. Our room door was sticky and realized it wasn’t actually closed a bunch of times when I forgot to make the extra effort. Also the dog poo baggie dispenser was empty. All in all, staff seemed friendly and pet friendly, and most guests seemed to be dog guests. Besides the pool thing, it wasn’t a bad experience.

  It's difficult to say if the fleas came from the dog area or the room, however it did have a bit of a flea issue. That aside, the room is a good size, so overall acceptable for a quick overnight stay. Just be sure to bring something for the fleas.

  A lot good about this place. Easy on/off 95, good size rooms with vinyl plank flooring, convenient place to walk dog, and restaurants nearby (no carry out within walking distance tho, but I guess you could order to-go from Outback). Breakfast is 6-9am.

  Lovely Hotel

  This is a fairly new hotel. There were two negative issues. We observed two live bugs in the bathroom. I killed one in the night and the 2nd one the following morning. The TV would not switch to cable channels from digital channels. I contacted the front desk and a staff member said she would come up. She was not able to fix it and stated that there aren’t cable channels in the hotel. I found this hard to believe, but was too tired to bother. The next day I observed cable tv in the breakfast room. I told a staff member at the front desk when checking out and she couldn’t have cared less. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great.

  TOUGH WEEK MADE EASIER

  Our county's power grid and cell service were vandalized by domestic terrorists (I'll bet most reviews don't begin like that). And we needed a warm comfortable place, in a safe/secure area to stay within an easy commute to my husband's office, which could also accommodate our two German Shepherds. Comfort Suites made room for us in a King Suite on the first floor, which also had a nice sofa (with a cover on it), a refrigerator and microwave. It was also at the end of the hallway, so getting in and out with the dogs was not stressful.

  The bed was very comfortable. The television worked very well, and had enough channels, many of which were broadcasting updates from the situation at home, as well as shows that took our minds off our situation.

  As a heads up, the internet wasn't password protected -- and that is why I always bring my own WIFI pack.

  Breakfast was each morning at 6 AM, and had a lot of great choices. I think my favorite was the waffles. But we also appreciated the lady serving, because she was so attentive. She made sure there was Turkey Sausage each morning for me, and that comforted me to know she was watching out for me.

  Perfect Place to Stop

  We stopped at this hotel while driving from FL to DE. The hotel is in a perfect location, just minutes off of I-95. There is an Outback Steakhouse just across the parking lot (2 min. walk), several gas stations, and a Walmart. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of grass/land, perfect for walking the dogs. The hotel itself was very clean, the beds & linens were nice quality & comfortable + the staff was extremely nice. I did not eat breakfast but they had a big spread out in the morning. The coffee was very good and is served all day!

  Staff was wonderful. 2 double bed suite had plenty of space for large dog crate. 1st floor was so convenient for dog walks on their spacious grounds. Several other dogs were also there. Sidewalk across the street that led to shopping center and lots of restaurants. Great for longer dog walks. Very good hot breakfast bar. Highly recommend!

  The room was absolutely overwhelming of wet dog smell. My wife and I couldn't sleep well because of it. Bathroom was filthy and floors were sticky and dirty. I used towel to wipe up water from spill and white towel turned black. The hotel had no other rooms available so we had to stay. Would not recommend and would never return.

  I was very surprised how clean and maintained this hotel was for the price. We just needed a place to stop for the night while traveling and saw the good reviews on Bring Fido. Staff was very friendly and greeted out little buddy. The whole hotel is dog friendly except the breakfast area. They have a great breakfast bar. Glad to see breakfast back at hotels after Covid.

  We stayed one night with our small dog. The hotel, room, and grounds were all in very good condition. They put us on the ground floor so going for a walk was easy. There is plenty of grassy area provided. The room is nice with a tiled floor, tall 12' ceilings (makes it seem bigger than it is), and a small fridge. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good (plenty of coffee!).

  After a long day of driving, I was so happy/relieved at how quickly and easily I was able to check in. The front desk person was courteous & efficient. He had no problem accommodating my request for a ground floor room for ease in taking my dogs out to potty. The (oversized)room itself was very nice & clean, & the breakfast buffet was very good. All in all, I will definitely add the hotel in my list of preferred places when traveling.

  We had such a great experience the first stay at this hotel that we booked it for our return trip. Again, friendly staff, quiet hotel, and clean rooms. There was the occasional bark in the hallway in the morning but it seemed like the dogs were equally distributed throughout the hotel. Which is a huge plus so that our fur baby isn’t stopping at each door on our floor to sniff and say hi. We normally stop in Florence, SC but the hotel prices had increased significantly and we noticed our go-to spot was starting to not meet our expectations. Really glad we found this hotel and plan to stay again in the future.

  The check-in process was easy with David. The original room that he was going to give us wasn't ready so he put us in a room on the first floor near the door. I asked him if it would be noisy and he said that he never received any complaints. After driving for 10+ hours, we knew that we wanted to go to sleep early so we could get an early start in the morning. The room was clean and well appointed for our dog. The only problem was that we heard the door the outside open and slam every time someone went outside. We would stay here again however next time, we would request a room on a higher floor. Also, the complimentary breakfast was pretty good and well stocked.

  Conveniently located halfway between Florida and our destination in CT the Comfort Suites in Lumberton, NC had very clean rooms for our stay with two Cotons. The Outback Steak House was right next door so we had takeout for dinner. We will make another reservation for our return trip.

  This hotel is definitely pet friendly! There were lots of dogs there. It's a bit dated, but it was ok for an overnight stay and the pet fee was very low. The front desk staff was friendly and breakfast was decent. Location near the interstate (as well as shopping and dining) was great!

  This place was great! My dog, son and I enjoyed our halfway-mark stay. Love the attention to detail with the pet strip at the end of the king sized bed, the no-carpet room, first floor (elevator fear) convenience and closeness to outdoor access for walking before bed and when wake up. We all were comfy, cozy and cool 🥰

  Loved the walk in shower, king sized bed, large screen TV, and in room mini fridge, and coffee maker. I put the spare blanket with the spare sheet over the blanket on top of the bed to save any dirt on top of the bedding, and comforter when I first got into the room. Really lovely stay, and they placed me right near the side door to make it easier to walk my boy. Super high quality room, and furnishings. Great breakfast in the morning from 6-9 AM. Well worth what I paid.
