We took a road trip with our 2 small dogs (one an experienced traveler but one had not traveled before). April is a great host who has decorated every inch of the property with fun, colorful tiles and more. If you are shy be aware the shower is outside with a shower curtain....no problem for us. We left the dogs in the room while we went to a show and they were well behaved but April had permission to deal with them if they were not. The backyard is very big, dog friendly and safe! There is a nice above ground pool as well. We would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with dogs. It's also centrally located close to everything.
