  Dog Park a Block Away

  Good, clean room. Bonus is the free access dog park that's about a block away from the hotel.

  Decent option if you are in a spot

  Overall, things were good enough and the room was comfortable. I think the hotel may have been short-staffed. My room had not been vacuumed and there was random kibble from a previous guest on the floor. My dogs loved it, but I don't like the idea of them eating strange food, and I really don't like stepping on kibble in my bare feet after a shower.

  Not great

  No grass on property for potty, dingy dirty floors, minimal interest from staff, and the breakfast was decent. That’s it.

  They loved my pup

  I stayed at this hotel as a last minute mini vacation. Upon checking in, I was greeted by Cassandra at the front desk. Check-in was extremely easy, and when I told her I had a pet with me, she told me they love pets there. During my check-in process, we were interrupted by a rude guest staying there. Cassandra handled it very well, apologized to me and kept on with my check-in process. Hotel is what you would expect at a La Quinta Inn. They do not have a space to walk your dog outside, but there is a park behind the hotel, which is easily accessible. I found out before we left there was a dog park at the opposite side of the park behind the hotel. All the hotel staff loved my Great Dane, Elena. I will surely recommend this place to anybody traveling with a pet.

  Enjoyed our stay

  Friendly and accommodating staff. Facility seemed somewhat “beat up.” Accommodated us with a door on the bottom floor and close to the back door for the pup. Dog park right done the street and nice grassy area across the street by the ball fields to walk the pup. Found a used wash cloth above the shower head which they probably just missed. Food places and grocery store close by. Breakfast was good with a hot meal. Overall a good stay.

  Perfect for Pet Owners

  My Husband & I checked in with 2 Foster Dogs, one of which is skittish. Check-in/Check-out was easy & quick. There was plenty of grassy areas for the Dogs to handle their business. One of the house keeping ladies was so friendly that she gave our Dogs lots of hugs/kisses. Even Micah (the skittish one) approached this kind Lady. I didn't get her name, but God Bless her & the rest of the staff, because they were all fantastically friendly! That we're aware of, there weren't any dogs barking at night. This location was convenient to everything. The rooms were clean. We highly recommend staying here when in Roswell.

  Nice rooms, horrible customer service

  The rooms were the lone bright spot for this La Quinta. We booked a cross country trip with our 2 dogs 5 months in advance. Upon arrival our 2 rooms were on opposite ends of the hotel despite requests otherwise. The receptionist at check-in acted disengaged and preferred to talk on her cell phone instead of helping customers. While away at a park the next day we received a call at 4pm saying our dog had been barking all day and we needed to come get him immediately. We returned as soon as possible to hear no noise except a maintenance worker trying to repair an ice machine directly outside of our room, which would upset most any dog to hear the repeated banging.

  My wife went to speak to the receptionist about the possibility of a dog down the hall barking instead of ours to which the receptionist yelled at her "what do you expect me to do? You're just mad we called about your dog" and proceeded to wave her hands in her face and threaten to have us removed. She then accused us of ignoring their calls all morning despite having just come in to work that afternoon. We immediately felt extremely uncomfortable and went to pack our things.

  While upstairs we could hear the receptionist on the phone talking about how she'd given us a fake name and trash talking us. We felt so uncomfortable we literally left to drive back to Florida after being up all day, which was not our plan at all. Horrible experience, which is very unfortunate as we usually have very good experiences with La Quinta's. I also watched them turn away a couple with a dog when it was very evident that space was available. I would never trust my animals at that place again.

  Key and ice issues

  Took us three times to get in the room and they replaced the batteries and we ended up changing rooms anyway. The staff was very helpful though. Another problem is they said they were told 2 months ago that the ice makers were on their last legs and they still never replaced them so there wasn't any ice.

  Quiet night

  Nice park across the street. Walking distance to various restaurants. Hotel was clean, nice staff, good breakfast.

  Friendly, Clean, Comfortable

  We liked everything about the hotel and staff! Room was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and accommodating! (Note: we did have a bad experience with the promoted room service … ordered and food never arrived. Still working to get my CC refunded!)

  Out of this world!

  We wanted to make a pit stop in Roswell to check out all the fun alien stuff with our pups. This was a great place to stay with our two large dogs. There was a park across the street that was pretty spacious for our dogs to run and play in. Our girl dog is particularly picky about where she does her business and this park had nice grass. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. They had a nice big TV too. There were other guests with dogs so it was nice to know we weren’t the only ones and they would understand if our dogs let out a bark once and a while. The only small criticism I had was the breakfast. It was just average at best. The waffle maker was tricky and the ended up having to shut it off. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again with our dogs. All the staff we met were helpful and gave great recommendations!

  Close to things!

  The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were super nice. We just did a layover to check out Roswell but it was a nice crash pad.

  We stayed with two cats overnight. No weird odors or loud noises. Serious lack of UFOs or aliens.

  Good for a Short Stay

  The hotel is well kept, save for some of the furniture being a little outdated and worn out. Our room was clean and to our short stay needs. Although not many, there are small grassy areas around the property, but no doggy waste bags so it is wise to bring your own. The hotel staff were friendly and check-in and out were both easy. Breakfast is fresh too.

  Room was fine with refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave. Easy to locate. Breakfast consisted of cereal, milk, juice, eggs, toast, sausage and pastry along with coffee. No fruit. Hall carpet was in need of cleaning. There was no grass for the dog, only weeds and dry dirt on site. A park was across the street but the mosquitos carried me away and I had to clean grass burrs from all four feet and beard. We have return reservation for three weeks, otherwise would not stay here again. I gave three stars due to the lack of dog areas.

  Nice La Quinta

  On a recent cross country trip we checked into several newer La Quintas. This was one and we thought it was very nice. Upgraded breakfast. Had a gym, pool, hot tub. Plenty of parking and some grassy areas to walk our dog. There is also a dog park about a five minute walk from the property.

  Just What We Needed

  This is a typical La Quinta (which I frequent because they’re pet friendly). This hotel is located near the downtown tourist spots, clean, and comfortable. It’s been recently remodeled and the staff is friendly. I will stay here again if I find myself in Roswell in the future.

  Not great!

  Our room smelled like it was once a smoking room as soon as we walked in. Property is now smoke-free. Our shower had old cigarette burns on the tub and the bathroom smelled of mold. The bathroom lights take a few seconds to turn on. Hotel indoor pool is located right next to elevator so kids were tracking water into the elevator. Outlets to charge phones next to bed were behind nightstand so you had to pull it out. Night of our stay, there was also some sort of softball tournament going on so our hotel was packed and loud noises went on till late.
