The Art Deco Hotel Montana stands majestically above the lake shore reminding one that true style never goes out of fashion as the saying goes. Built in 1910 in the grand manner of a luxury hotel it is a celebration of the classic Art Deco period but with a twist of bravura design that meets the needs of today*s well-travelled guest. The hotel has all the luxuries one expects of a classic hotel and even a cable car from the lobby to the lake promenade. The guest rooms are designed in the style of modern art deco very contemporary in look feel and facilities. Nearly all the rooms have a balcony. Scala restaurant also looks out on the lake but by contrast has a classic theme whilst presenting creative and beautifully arranged a la carte dishes as well as daily variations of freshly made pasta.
