We were a little hesitant to try this location as it did not have any reviews on BringFido, but we gave it a try. First off, it is a nice and clean place to stay. The people were friendly, there was a nice area out back for our two girls to walk and do their business. The grassy area just outside the doors runs all along the back of the building, but I felt a little weird walking our dogs there as we were right outside people's windows. There is a big dip in the grass, possibly an overflow area for when it rains that was much better and quite large. Although the slope going down could be a problem for some, it wasn't too bad.
I also liked how the hotel provided bags to pick up your pet's waste. I was expecting to stay on the 1st floor since it seems that is where they always stick us with dogs, but we were up a few floors, which was not bad. The girls did fine in the elevators and made friends easily. The rooms were very nice. Some laminate in the entryway and then carpet for most of the rest of the room. This was also nice as the girls didn't have to risk sliding all over the place and it was a little more quiet for those below us. The rooms were reasonably quiet, but there were some noises that are to be expected, that may startle or cause a dog to bark if they are prone to that.
The only thing that I would say was negative in the stay was geared more towards people. Nothing serious, but I was surprised by the parking fee, and the lack of much choice for the breakfast. In other places at the same price range, we have seen no charges for parking (unless staying downtown), and much more selection for breakfast. No breakfast meats on the dates we were there, just some scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. Not much for a diabetic to eat. Other places we have stayed would have had a much larger selection, possibly even a waffle maker, and some low-sugar breakfast alternatives. Being that we stayed in a suite if we had known the limitations of the breakfast, we would have brought our own and made breakfast in the room. By no means would I not stay here because of that, but I was really surprised.
One last thing was just more annoying than anything. They had nice TVs in the room, and we only used these in the morning and later in the evening when we returned. They had a TV guide, but it didn't tell you what was on, so you had to guess. We called down to the desk one evening, and the person said they didn't know how to work the TV, so this wasn't much help. The remote clearly had a guide button, but when you pressed it, it just listed a TV guide with nothing but the channel names... it wouldn't tell you what was on currently or next (it looked like it could, but that was turned off possibly or not working). We mentioned this when we checked out, and they said they would have their service look into this, so it just must be something that was not working on the dates we were there.
