  Best hotel I’ve stayed at

  Had a business room, so spacious and very clean. Smelled clean too. What a nice surprise! Our first hotel stay with the dogs! Loved it.

  Having recently been renovated, I hoped for more. The shower was peeling, didn’t drain and had mold on the curtain. The elevator was broken.

  Great for dogs but...

  I stay at La Quintas several times a month. Apparently this one is having staffing issues as well. I had to call the front desk to get a clump of hair the size of a quarter out of the shower. My socks turned black after 10 minutes on the hardwood floor. I'm hoping this is a temporary issue. The hotel is nice and the grounds for the dog were good as well

  Won't pay that much for a La Quinta

  Secondly we made a reservation and immediately had to cancel because of the amount of dogs and breeds not accepted. They sent over the pet policy for us to review, but decided at their discretion what breeds they allow and # of fur-babies. Do they also restrict the number of kids people can travel with?! No thank you La Quinta! Not sure why you even say pet friendly.

  Met our needs

  Only giving three bones because the hotel met our needs but didn’t go above and beyond. The room looked freshly remodeled however the shower drain was plugged with a huge mass of hair that had accumulated under the decorative drain. The continental breakfast was very disappointing, lots of sugary items. There didn’t seem to be much area for dogs to do their business. Worked well for getting in late, sleeping, then hitting the road early again.

  A great La Quinta

  This property is one of the best La Quinta properties that we’ve stayed in. Great staff, great rooms, super-friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was a little lacking, but there’s an IHOP right next door, so that worked for us. Highly recommend!

  Impressive!

  The La Quinta brand can vary widely in terms of quality of the building. This location was the nicest and newest that I’d seen! We were very comfortable there with our golden retriever. Clean, quiet, friendly, safe. I especially appreciate feeling comfortable being outside after dark alone with the dog. Nice, well lit sidewalk along frontage road and strip mall for a moderate length walk (2O minutes round trip). IHOP next door is open 24/7 even on Christmas Day.

  Great room and service but a few issues with the grounds

  My wife and I were traveling with our two golden retrievers and spent the night at the Norman, OK La Quinta. The room was terrific..... clean, updated and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and competent, as well. While the grounds were nice, the areas where dogs are to be walked was loaded with dog poop. We ALWAYS pick up after our dogs but this location seems to be very populated by irresponsible dog owners. The hotel should still clean up if their guests don't. Perhaps providing bags and a place to dispose of them would help. We had to travel with more valuables than we could take into the room and felt that the parking lot was not adequately illuminated. We also had to park farther than we wanted because the card/key would not open the closer entrance. All in all the hotel and room was outstanding and we will likely stay there again.

  Lovely Resort

  Stayed for one night with my dog while visiting family and friends in the OK area and had a lovely time! Definitely recommend.

  Vacation with my pets

  I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Norman, OK with my two pets. When I checked in they asked me do you have pets & I said yes 2. They gave me my keys and I went to the room. The room was roomy for my 2 pets. The only thing that was wrong with the room was the very small toilet (kindergarten toilet) it was hard sitting on a toilet so small. The hotel is very nice and it has a lot of eatery’s nearby. I would stay at this hotel again with my pets.

  Nice hotel overall but some discrepancies

  Very nice hotel overall. I didn't give 5 bones as the description did not match up to what I experienced. There really wasn't a defined area outside for dogs (the rules provided stated to walk around the border of the property). The rules stated that pet could not be left alone, which varied from the booking description which said well behaved dogs could be left in room unattended or they did have pet sitting services.

  Very nice!

  Room had no carpet, which makes it great for a pet room. Room was very clean and we had a great stay. Staff was very nice. Will stay again!!!

  Great location and nice rooms

  The lady behind the desk at check-in was not friendly at all! She didn’t even tell us we had to go back outside and enter through their side door to get to the elevator or our room. Check-out man was nice. I will say that due to COVID the pool, fitness room, and breakfast buffet were closed; and they didn’t have to go breakfast bags like other hotels we stayed at on our trip. With that said, the prices should be discounted since no amenities available.

  Super Nice Hotel!

  Enjoyed our stay at this very clean and updated hotel. Very dog friendly, w treats for dogs, plus lots of space to walk ur pet. Rooms are spacious on the first floor.

  Great Location!!!

  While traveling to San Antonio Texas we stopped here and I can’t say how amazing it was. Rooms were very clean and had a nice modern look. We loved it so much we stopped back by on our way home and stayed in a suite which was worth the price difference. Dog walk area in back wasn’t too bad and was very clean. All in all 5 bones easy. Don’t hesitate stopping if you need a place to stay.
