Whether you’re traveling for work, to visit family, vacation or need a comfortable refuge from home renovations or an interim family living solution between moves, this property located just minutes from Lake Ray Hubbard (bring your fishing gear!) and everything in Dallas, Richardson and more has all you need to create your very own home away from home. 5 large bedrooms (terms and additional costs apply for 5th bedroom, see below) , 2.5 baths, large living and dining areas plus a home gym and open kitchen provide plenty of space for all. A fully equipped chef’s kitchen, open concept living and dining area, cable TV, WIFI, laundry room with washer and dryer, and spacious backyard make this the ideal spot for the active as well as those looking to relax, live, work and play. The Space:
Walk through the stately, high ceiling entryway into a bright, modern beautifully decorated interior that invites you to kick off your shoes and relax. Our attention to detail ensures you’ll feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
The open and spacious living room and dining area with Mid-century modern furnishings in soothing neutral tones with pops of color and textured fabrics allow plenty of room to comfortably spread out in style. The living room’s wall of windows ensures the space is filled with plenty of sunlight to make you smile.
You won’t go hungry during your stay! The fully equipped, roomy eat-in cook’s kitchen with up-to-date stainless-steel appliances is perfect for preparing delicious meals. The stylish quartz counters and large island make meal prep easy. The huge side-by-side refrigerator-freezer and tons of cabinets provide plenty of storage space. A door in the kitchen gives you access to the beautiful backyard where you can enjoy dining al fresco.
The dining room features a sleek wood and silver dining table that is large enough to comfortably seat 8, making it ideal for dinner with family or friends. The living room includes a large TV over a gas fireplace and game table/ottoman – it’s a great spot to relax after a busy day of fishing, boating and water activities on Lake Ray Hubbard, work, school or exploring Dallas and the surrounding area. Make a cozy fire and gather together to make plans for your stay, play games, watch a movie, and create amazing memories! The comfy couches are perfect for lounging or curling up with a book.
Being away won’t make you miss your workout. The fantastic, light, and spacious home gym off the entryway ensures you can exercise in style. Get your cardio in on the gym-quality elliptical. Stretch and work your core on the mat. Use the hand weights and bench for your full body strength training. When you’re done, walk over to Shorewood Park which is just blocks away to get in additional steps!
When you’re ready to curl up for a restful night’s sleep, you’ll find 5 spacious bedrooms that can comfortably sleep a large group. The contemporary rooms feature furnishings and cozy bedding worthy of a luxury hotel. The rooms are designed with colors and textures to create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, so you can easily sink into sleep. The large, first-floor, master bedroom suite with TV features a king bed that comfortably sleeps 2 people plus a stylish sleeper sofa perfect for a young child who needs to be near parents, or 1 additional guest as needed. The light-filled room with big windows also includes a glass door that provides access to the backyard – slip out first thing in the morning in your PJs to watch the sunrise and sneak in late without waking the rest of the house after looking at the stars!
Walk up the wide, open staircase to 4 additional bedrooms. Upstairs you’ll find a peaceful king bedroom with TV that sleeps 2, a tasteful queen bedroom that sleeps 2 people, a hip, surf-inspired queen with a bunk bed that sleeps 4, and a fun double bunk bedroom that sleeps 5 and is perfect for kids or the kid in you.
The home features 2 and a-half amazing sparkling clean, modern baths. The private luxurious master bath off the first-floor master bedroom has a double vanity, shower, and separate tub ideal for soaking in bubbles at the end of a long day. The full upstairs bathroom features a gorgeous tile shower with tub and vanity.
The fantastic fully fenced backyard gives you total privacy and provides a safe and fun play space for kids including a trampoline and swing set with playhouse and slide. The patio has a covered seating area with fairy lights, comfy couches and stools, dining table plus a heater for enjoying the outdoors even on cool nights. A large gas grill is ideal for barbecuing your favorite grilled foods. The backyard’s lawn is great for playing catch or kicking a ball. When you want to simply relax, you can sit back in the hot tub as the water soothes you. The yard is just one of the many great features this home has to offer.

Park your vehicle(s) in the 2-car garage in the back of the house that is accessed via the alley. The driveaway can accommodate 2 additional vehicles. Your vacation or extended stay home is located minutes from Lake Ray Hubbard, a fisherman’s and boater’s delight, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, attractions, downtown Dallas, Richardson and more. You’re 35 minutes from 2 area airports, DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field; 25 minutes from downtown Dallas including the Dallas Arts District, the largest contiguous arts district in the country; 14 minutes from Chandler’s Landing Marina featuring boat and wave runner rentals, 15 minutes from San Martino Winery and Vineyard, an award-winning, family-owned local winery featuring wine tastings, and 23 minuets from the spectacularly beautiful Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens with a fantastic children’s area on White Rock Lake.
Within blocks, you’ll find Shorewood Park, with soccer fields and a half-mile hiking and biking trail. Kayak on White Rock Lake or run, walk, or bike the trail around the lake which is only 23 minutes away. * In light of the recent bans the short-term rental market has placed on ALL parties, we have adopted a strict No Large Gathering or Party Policy. We hope you use and love our home but remind you that only registered guests are allowed at the house while you are renting our property. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you’re unsure whether your stay falls under these restrictions, please consult us before booking.
