We needed to break up our drive and this was the perfect stopping place. Great location and price. It was clean and had a decent breakfast (but I like oatmeal, so maybe don’t take my word on that one). Fido was fine - plenty of area to walk him, no one hassled us about him (he’s a barker!). We stayed here again on the way back. It was absolutely perfect for a place to crash after a long day driving.

Sheets were clean and that's where it stopped. The floor was filthy and the outlet by the sink did not work. We got what we paid for, a less expensive room that accepted pets.

We have two miniature dachshunds that cannot go up or down stairs. So to carry luggage and two dogs for two people in our 60’s was extremely hard. The pet relief areas were minimal and of course. I had to carry two wiener dogs down the steps at 5am to go outside to pee. The bed was clean and comfortable though. Run down area, limited choices to eat dinner. We will not stay there again.

The room has vinyl floors but you could smell prior visitors. The beds are firm and clean. We were only there for 5 hours. Breakfast was ok. Egg patties, bread, muffins, waffles, sausage and gravy. OJ and milk with some cereal. Everything for less than $70. Seems fair to me. No bugs or cleaning issues on this visit. We will stay here again. Halfway for our trip.

Seemed run down, needs new paint, and general fixing up. Floor was gritty like it hadn’t been cleaned. Lots of cats running around on the premises. Breakfast was fair, not a very good selection. Cons were parking was right outside our door which was on the first floor. The night desk gentleman was pleasant.

The room could have been cleaner but for under $90 a night, it was better than I expected. Check-in was easy, lots of areas for my dog to go to the bathroom. As I said, was expecting worse for what I paid, and was pleasantly surprised!

Just north of Savannah, so less traffic, easy to get to. Room ready, early check-in 2 pm, met with blast of cool air, wood floor, lots of grass, 4 cup coffeemaker, frig. Only wish was outdoor seating for breakfast, so can bring the dog.

I have high expectations of hotels. The decor and fixtures can be trash but cleanliness is the easy part. This place was quite dirty, vinyl floors were covered with dirt and grit. I spilled my dogs water bowl and had to wipe up the floor with a white towel. That was any eye opener. However, I was on a budget, needed a short rest with my dog and this fit my needs. I felt somewhat safe in this location but mostly because the hotel got very busy as the evening went on. I’d stay again because of the price not because it was a fantastic place. For 6 hours of sleep and a shower, $87 was about right.

Basic room right next to the grass for letting the dogs out. The hotel is dated but served our needs perfectly for the price and no pet fees. We were only stopping for one night before heading to our final destination. Great dog park nearby and found some amazing food at Carolina's just down the street.

The staff won’t let you take your dog into the “office” to check in which is very awkward when traveling with a dog. The room is clean but the hallways smell stale of very strong disinfectant. There is no elevator to the second floor and the railing on the staircase was pulled out of the cinder block wall. As long as you stay in your room and don’t venture out, it is OK but otherwise a pretty seedy area. The cheap price is indicative of what you get.

Location is good about 20 minutes from Savannah and price is good if you don’t want to pay Savannah prices. Lots of gas stations and fast food on main road. Small area for pets to bring which is nice. Beds are ok. Customer service wasn't great. Nice place for about 1-2 nights to stay but that’s about it and complete fake for the price. Beware of when booking in being Fido and if you pick two beds and they’re out they will automatically switch to 1 bed without your knowledge. This is what happened here. Call hotel to verify if how many beds is a concern for your trip

This was the nicest Red Roof Inn we've stayed at recently. Rooms were updated with current paint and bed linens. The breakfast included real sausage! Nice grassy area to walk your dog on hotel property.

We enjoyed our stay at this Red Roof Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. I like the fact that we were in a back building specifically for pet owners and could walk right out the door for potty time. They also served a nice breakfast. We will definitely return!

First floor access, clean room, friendly front desk. The only thing I didn’t like is that all the parking spots anywhere near my room were full, so I had to park a bit far away, but clearly people like this hotel so that says something. Nothing fancy, but just what I need traveling with dogs.

Room didn’t smell particularly fresh, but seemed clean. Good price for a quick stay.

The rooms had a horrible odor, were covered with mold and mildew, and were pretty sketchy. We would not recommend. We had a much better experience at Travel Lodge a week later. The staff were friendlier, the rooms were brighter and cleaner.

Clean rooms, quiet hotel. Great spot for the pups. Great staff. A few groups of people a little noisy at first but they quieted down after 8 o’clock. They were obviously groups of workers staying at the hotel.

Place was sketchy with people hanging outside their rooms with their doors open. One was slumped in a chair. Room was the worst I’ve ever been in. Didn’t feel safe. Would not recommend a stay here.

It was 10:00 when we checked in. The night clerk was not friendly and I am hearing impaired so he was awfully difficult to understand. The room was clean, and the morning staff was friendly.

Clean room, friendly staff, nice grassy area for dogs to do their business. Very reasonable rates, and also right off of I-95, which was great for our stop-over point.

The room was outdated but fine. The bed was comfortable and there was laminate flooring. It wasn’t bad. However, the people staying there were up all hours slamming doors, fighting, yelling and kept us up all night. Thought my dog was on full alert. Not the best experience.

The room was cheap and clean. My husband and I are traveling with our two chihuahuas and needed somewhere to stay for the night. They don’t charge a pet fee and are right off I-95, so very convenient to get in and out back in the road. The room has wood floors or at least vinyl that passes for wood, which is great so pet smells don’t linger. The room was perfect and the shower had great water pressure which is something my husband is always complaining about in hotels. The bed was clean the sheets smelled great and there was multiple protectors on the mattress which I checked for bugs because I’m paranoid. (I found none) The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because the area was a little sketchy so I was very nervous falling asleep and kept waking up. Definitely a bang for our buck.
