Very small dirty area for dogs.

Room was great. Older hotel, especially noticeable in the bathroom, but comfortable and very clean. Very friendly staff. Being open to the parking lot made outside noises rather loud, but our pup got used to the slamming doors and people talking/smoking outside. Breakfast was a definite plus. Four bones rather than 5 because, as other reviewers have stated, it was difficult to find a place to walk our pup.

Lee's BW is very convenient for unloading and loading your dog and gear as the rooms are on the ground floor and parking is inches from your door. Everyone was very friendly and Chamberlain is in a beautiful part of South Dakota. The only drawback was the smallish area for pet relief. My big girl needs to walk on grass for a bit before deciding to go, but not a major issue. Recommended.

We had a 2 bedroom with a bathroom in between. Very clean and everything seemed up to date. Both rooms had a pocket door for privacy. It was also dog friendly and right by the river and bridge in Champlain. Beautiful spot.

Staff was friendly. Room was old but adequate. Not much grass for dogs. Had to walk around to the back side where there was a small grassy area by street parking.

Did not receive the room we reserved but hotel was full so we didn’t bother complaining. Hotel is dated but room was sparkling clean. Front desk staff were fantastic. Welcomed our large dogs. Not much room to walk dogs but we made it work. Would stay again.

The rooms are small and I am 99.9-percent sure my queen bed was a double. The room was small, cramped, and moderately clean. It was Memorial Day weekend and we booked last-minute to serve as a launching pad for a visit to Badlands. Set your sights as low as the price and you should be okay.

I've not always had great experiences with 'dog-friendly' hotels. Sometimes they have rules like 'no dogs on the furniture' which, to me, means not dog friendly. This place had no such silly rules that I saw. It's extremely well located right on the river, with access to a great trail for walking Fido. The room was spacious and very comfy, with none of the strong 'pet friendly hotel' odors. My senior pup and I had a great stay.

The hotel was clean, friendly, and quiet. The only reason I did not give it 5 bones was it didn't have a very good pet are outside. It had a very narrow strip of grass along the side of the hotel, but not much else.
