  PLEASE AVOID!!!

  PLEASE AVOID!!! Stains all over the room, an item left in the shower, a hair dryer with a melted cord. When we asked for a hair dryer that is safe, we were told that we had to wait for maintenance to get there at 9am (we left at 4:30am after a miserable night including flea bites). BTW the "No pet fees" just means that the cost is in the price of the room. Another customer told us that his charge was $20 ish less than we were charged.

  I gave RR the opportunity to rectify the situation but was stone walled at every turn. Manager will not return calls even when Red Roof Customer Service has called her. Customer service will tell you that they cannot find your reservation even with the confirmation number. They will take your "Official Complaint" then NOT call you back after 48 hours.

  Do you enjoy high chance of bed bugs? The possibility of staying in an unclean room with a sticky floor, couch, and bedding? Then Red Roof Inn is the place for you! Everything about this place is horrible and disgusting. Beds and rooms are so unclean your dog will love the smells! How can this possibly be even better you might ask? Well, I will tell you! We had two reservations scheduled 10 days apart. Saw the state of the room on the first day and went to a different place to sleep. We ate the cost of that reservation but cancelled the other one 7 days in advance and they will still take your money! So if you enjoy having your money stolen, borderline unsanitary rooms, and corrupt company, then Red Roof Inn is your place to stay. Needlessly to say, our dog was sad to leave the smells and filth. 0/10 would recommend.

  Would stay again

  Great for a single night. Walking path just behind the building was great to walk the dog. Waffle breakfast was pretty lack luster. I try to stay at places that accept dogs and offer hot breakfast.

  Stay away!

  This is NOT a safe area to stay. Half the bottom floor is full of ripped curtains and broken doors. Our first room we were given had its security lock already engaged. Second room we were given was completely stench ridden from smoke. Also, pretty sure I witnessed stolen property being sold in the front parking lot. Don’t stay here.

  Zero Bones

  Red Roof is never an option for me but in this case it was my last option. I said "It'll be fine, it's only one night." WORST experience with Red Roof. I've never experienced bed bugs until this time- potentially lice too. They have a nice grass area for dogs, but the rooms are gross.

  Clean and reasonably priced

  The room was large and clean. Lots of grass to walk my dog. Only thing missing was a trash can outside to put poop bag.

  Not the nicest

  It's a very old hotel and not maintained very well. I was needing a place between Denver and San Antonio that was dog friendly for a night. I hate paying for bringing my dog to hotels. In this case, I would advise to stay elsewhere.

  We reserved a non-smoking room and it smelled of cigarette smoke. We asked for a King bed and got two queens. We had to physically shove the door to open it. There was a hole in the duvet and a stain on the bed sheets.

  Big comfy rooms that us and our two ESA's had a warm bed to sleep in. Our go to place to stay while passing through Amarillo!

  Deserves 0 bones

  If I could leave a zero-bone review I would. The room I rented was so filthy that I didn’t even take my shoes off. The grounds were literally covered in dog poop, the bed was awful (and dirty), I couldn’t use the heater because it smelled like burning hair and dust, light bulbs were burned out, the microwave had food stuck to the inside - I could go on. I woke up at 4am and got out of there as fast as possible. The one bone belongs to the front desk staff, who were pleasant and polite.

  Good location & setup

  Nice setup for traveling with pets because the doors to the hotels are on the outside of the building making it easy to park right in front or next to your hotel door. There was a dog park (not maintained) that was accessible and provided a spot for your pets. I happened to see it, otherwise I would have never known it was there and it wasn't mentioned. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location was a bit sketchy.

  Pet area was in central grass area with two pet stations. Room showed age and wear and tear but clean. Laminate floors. First floor room so easy in and out. No pet fees and ok breakfast, so good value.

  Very inexpensive overnight stay

  Don't expect a high end hotel with lots of extras. Rooms are a little out of date but they were clean and comfortable at a killer price. Nice walking trail behind the hotel for pet exercising after a long day sitting in the car. Staff was friendly and courteous.

  The stay was fine. It was clean and the room is quite large. The rooms are quite dated and the shower only got lukewarm. But Bob at check-in was great and super friendly and very helpful. Was not aware that there were smoking rooms and mistakenly booked a king smoking which I had to change therefore only being able to get two queens. But our dog was very welcome and the location is close to food and shopping.

  The staff is dog friendly, and the property is well laid out for walking dogs. The room had clean sheets and bathroom, but leaking faucets, and an exceptionally dirty and frayed carpet. Parking is easy and plentiful. The provided breakfast was minimal, standard motel style.

  This hotel does not even deserve 1 bone. We had a very hard day of travel the day before and had to push our reso ahead 1 day, we contacted the hotel directly and then BringFido to do this. When we arrived there was no reservation and we were charged for the night we were supposed to arrive. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and fixed that issue. However, when we went to our room the door was open, we knocked just in case someone was in there. Long story short - the room was disgusting.

  We booked the room with the full kitchen. There was no kitchen, the fridge was filthy and not turned on, there was no pots/pans/plates/cutlery. The cupboards were FILTHY. There were cigarette burns on the bathtub and to top it off, the door did not even lock, hence why it was open. We left and did not even ask for a refund. I wish I had taken pictures to submit to Red Roof Inn's corporate office. The room # is 154 - I hope someone from BringFido and Red Roof go to visit this room and enjoy their stay. We will be looking for a refund. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this hotel.

  Old and out dated hotel. Dirty carpet and the bathroom floor was very sticky. They advertise a continental breakfast but there is no such thing. The owner uses Covid as an excuse for no longer offering one even though they advertise it.

  We stayed here for one night on our road trip. It was fine for us. Clean, quiet, and a ground floor room. The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and professional. The area to walk our dog was large and well maintained. The hotel is near several restaurants. For pickier folks, just know our pup found a sock that wasn’t ours. Even though there are signs that announce all rooms are smoke-free, the room reeked of smoke. And I had to go get coffee pods (there were two of us, two cups, and one coffee pod). For us, we would stay there again.

  Disgusting room and customer service

  Beds were dirty, hair in the shower and on the floor. The floor was so dirty, my feet were black from walking on it. My daughter and I both felt like we were being bitten by something all night, it was all over bad. And when I complained, they had nothing to say and don't offer a refund or anything. Horrible experience.

  Love the trail that is behind the motel! Love the hardwood floors. Nice lobby area with coffee and juice. I’ll be glad when they can have breakfast again and open the pool up.
