  Flea infested

  They don't treat the rooms for prevention. Beware! The photos must have been taken years ago because this place is run down and the pool was a cloudy dark green. Pay a little more and keep your pet flea free. They did refund me for one night because I couldn't stay in their hotel. Very disappointing.

  Will stay again

  This hotel has everything going for it with the exception of age. Some things are definitely showing their age and other things have been patched (the stairs to the second level are uneven … there is no elevator that I’m aware of). But the stay still beats the remodeled Motel 6 that I have given three separate tries. The staff at this hotel are friendly. There’s the typical hotel breakfast and a free happy hour (wine, cheese and meats). The rooms are large as this was previously an apartment complex. We received a free upgrade to a two bedroom with king beds. The TVs are small. The beds are super comfy. I took my own pillows, as usual. It’s close and convenient to a lot of things. I hope you enjoy your stay.

  Cute & great for the money

  Great amenities with kitchen and dining area along with multiple bedrooms. Felt more like an apartment. The courtyard area was very nice. Overall, it could use some updates but for the price you couldn't beat it.

  My dog was attacked

  I was coming back from getting some dog food and had my hands full. I had just gotten to the door when a gray Pit bull came rushing around the corner. It had a leash attached but the young boy that had taken it for a walk didn't have control of it. I yelled at the dog hoping it would stop. It did for a brief moment and then lunged at my dog. Luckily the person staying in the suite next to mine opened the door and let me in. When all was clear, I took my dog out of her apartment and into mine.

  While I was in the lady's suite, she suggested I complain because the dog has lived there a while and is let off the leash to run around inside and outside the hotel. I talked to management and they said they would talk to the owner and make sure it is controlled by a person that can handle the dog. I also found out it's routine so I could come and go when it wasn't usually out. Needless to say I was worried about my dog the entire trip. And it made the trip unpleasant. I didn't know if I was going to be out in the dog area, which wasn't fenced, and have another incident.

  Dogs are #1

  What a great place for a great rate, the rooms were formerly 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, fully furnished and kitchen fully equipped. Rooms open onto a courtyard which is gated from outsiders, seating areas, small pool. Huge grass area on west side of building for dogs to exercise their needs. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Just 2 blocks north of Business SR 6. Wine and snacks at evening welcome hour, breakfast nook in the morning.

  Nice Setup

  Room was clean and stocked well with linens, towels, and kitchen items. The heat did not work (it was 28 degrees outside). Breakfast was good, coffee was weak, staff was not very friendly. Absolutely no attention given to the pet.

  Boutique Hotel

  What we loved: the staff who were so accommodating when bad weather added a day to our stay. Also, the vintage, quirky feel to the place. The building started as apartments, then a hotel with some apartments for long term rent. Size of rooms normal for era of the building. Gorgeous central garden/patio that I'm sure is gorgeous in warmer months. Pet relief areas almost unusable due to wet weather so had to endure high winds and cold for short walks to driest relief areas nearby. Convenient to shopping for anything you need and for TX A&M games, as well as President Bush #1 Library and Museum. Hopefully the company that has bought this place will strive to update a little without losing the charm. Would consider another visit in warmer seasons.

  Super Pet Friendly and great location

  Everything was excellent from the moment we checked in. The front desk staff came around the desk to pet my dog and love on him. They were so kind. They quickly told me about the complimentary breakfast and social hour and we were on our way to explore. All of the rooms open up to a nice courtyard. It's very peaceful and feels safe. They have a huge pet relief area complete with waste bags and trashcans.

  The room itself was very nice. There was a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top, coffee pot and all the plates and utensils you could ever need. There was a soft comfy couch, that's where my dog slept. The bed was comfy but the pillows were on the harder side, so bring your own if you can. Bathroom was clean and water pressure was decent, probably good for most but I like the water pressure to almost peel my skin off🤣. Overall, great stay at a great hotel and I'll be back for sure. Highly recommend.

  Cute boutique hotel and very dog friendly

  We were in town for a dog charity event, Wienerspiel, and needed a place that wasn't going to gouge us with pet fees for one night. We saw this place listed on BringFido. The property was an older hotel that had the great concept of all rooms facing a central courtyard with pool and bbq grills. Rooms were suites so they had a kitchen. The property also had a free breakfast and social hour. Check-in with the dog was easy, no paperwork needed. And the dog was allowed to walk around the court yard on a leash so could eat breakfast with us or sit with us at social hour. There is also a large lot next door that is grassy so you can easily take the dogs for a walk. Staff were super nice and seemed to enjoy dogs as well. We will definitely look this place up next time we are in town. Very convenient location as well.

  This was a great location to the friends we were visiting. It was a nice suite room and a fantastic price.

  Amazing stay

  We will definitely stay at the Vineyard Court again. The rooms are spacious, CLEAN, and they have a big field for the fur babies to use, potty bags are provided as well. You get more than what you pay for staying here.

  Lovely Hotel at Great Prices!

  We had a great stay at the Vineyard Court. Our suite was clean and spacious feels much homier than a standard hotel room. Great grass field for the pets. Amanda made sure we were all taken care of! Will definitely stay again in the future.
