A poor representation of the La Quinta brand. This hotel is not new and is showing the wear and tear of time. Pet Fee must be paid in cash and no written pet policy posted. Rooms need a good deep cleaning with a substantial amount of dust and cobwebs up high. Side door lock wasn't working so we couldn't easily return in with our key from walking. Positives: plenty of grass around the property and a Whataburger next door.

Never had a problem or complaint from anyone while we were there with our border collie. She was well behaved and never barked. We never left her alone in the room. I don’t know how they feel about that if you wanted to do a day without pup. Overall a very good trip.

I paid over $100 to stay for one night but due to Covid the hotel had absolutely no amenities what so ever. The pool was not open, no laundry service, and no hot breakfast. The complimentary “breakfast” they had available were juice boxes and a tiny cup of strawberry yogurt. Also, guests must wear face masks but I saw half of the employees not wearing one. Every one was fairly nice and the room was nice but it was just pretty disappointing to pay so much for no amenities when most hotels still offer them.

Both ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful. Provided info as to where I could take my dog out for a walk and to use the bathroom.
