    Urban Convenience For A Price

    I’ve come to expect that a La Quinta in an urban setting (within 5-10 miles of downtown) is generally going to be subpar. Our visit to this La Quinta was no exception. The facility was relatively clean and well kept. The staff was friendly as well. The room smelled heavily perfumed and the AC unit smelled like it was blowing a “bathroom” smell into the room. Our other family member was relieved that their odor was only cigarette smoke. Speaking of smoke, there were several guests at the entrance door smoking cigarettes while we were entering or exiting. Also, the guests didn’t pick up after their dog so I ended up with a giant poo shoe. Would stay here unless you’re in need of a convenient location and diving into bed at the end of a long day.

    They said nothing but great things about my dog Lily. I have a LOT of pets (4) and they accommodated us beautifully. We're still here due to Hurricane Laura and I'm so thankful for La Quinta.

    No Pet Fee but .......

    No pet fee but the place could use a good carpet cleaning. The room was clean but don’t move the furniture. No breakfast due to Covid. LaQuinta is a hit or miss for me Zi am discovering. This one is a miss

    Dog friendly hotel with a smelly cost

    This is a great way to stay with your pup without paying an extra fee. HOWEVER, the dog friendly rooms are designated for pets and the room stunk like dog urine. We told the desk and they just gave us a bottle of air freshener 😒. There was also a big wet spot on the floor that we think was soap that someone had sprayed on urine because every time we accidentally stepped in it, we would slip and slide on the bathroom tile. We didn’t complain though because our dog is known to bark when we are gone and no one said anything to us about it 😊

    Nice location and ease of access for room to outside

    We were given a ground floor room, which made it very easy to take my dog outside for potty breaks. Walls are thin, so I felt a little bad about my dog’s barking when we left him alone in the room.

    Ok motel

    There was no place to walk the dogs. I didn't get the impression that this motel really wanted the dogs there. Plus the breakfast was cold
