Good location right off the highway. The room was ok (walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors yawn!). Nice to take long walks around this and adjoining hotels.

Positives: the breakfast was great and the grassy space for dogs to explore and do their thing was huge. Negatives: the room was gross. The towels and bedsheets didn't seem to be washed. There were moths, flies, mosquitoes, and some huge beetle that made their way into our room or were already there when we got there. The outside door had a big enough crack that the bugs could come and go as freely as they wanted. The room is also in no way soundproof. We don't expect hotel rooms to be incredibly soundproof but we could hear every step, car, and person around us. Should have stayed at the holiday in across the way.

Loved the people. The room was large and had no carpet which was awesome. I could hear her toe nails tapping when she started pacing to go outside. Clean, clean, clean. All around the hotel there was no poop just laying around. It was awesome.

We stayed here on the way to Big Bend National Park and liked it so much booked our return trip back home to Houston. We could back up our SUV to the actual door of our room. Staff very friendly. Met other folk traveling with dogs. Room was enough space. Bathroom was recently updated and very clean. Breakfast had hot eggs and make your own waffles plus cold dishes. The only “con” is the highway noise. Lots of space to walk the dogs.

We needed an over-night stop with our 2 dogs and this was very convenient. We had a comfortable suite but were surprised that it had carpet. The hotel had a gym and breakfast was included but the biggest thing missing was a fenced-in dog area where you could take the leashes off for a minute. It just has an open field right next to the highway. Not ideal, but it's still a decent hotel for a quick stop with dogs.

This is a Best Western, not a luxury place by any means, and the room was ok, but one stay night total bill was $185. Sorry, but that is a bit much.

We stayed here on Dec. 31st-Jan. 1st when we got caught in the sudden winter snowstorm that swept through this part of Texas. Hotel is located just off of the I-10 interstate. Right across the field from the Holiday Inn Express. Hotel staff was friendly, but overworked that night. Room was on the second floor, at the far end of the building, so we had to go up and down the snow/ice covered steps since there was no elevator. Our room was very nice and clean. Not very roomy, but still comfortable. Wife noticed standing water in the bathtub and that the water was slow to drain, so I went to ask the hotel staff if they had any drain cleaner so that I could fix the problem. They had none, so I drove through the snow to the local Dollar General store to buy some drain cleaner, but they had already closed early for New Years. Ended up taking a shower while standing in a bathtub half full of water! WTF??? Dogs had to go potty out in the empty field next to the hotel property. Would stay here again if there aren't any issues with the room.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western from the start of checking to being able to have a hot package breakfast when leaving. (During Covid)I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfortable and decent breakfast but not many areas to exercise your dog although its because its close to the highway.
