The hotel is very dated and extremely old. Adjoining property where dogs have to handle their business is full of mesquite needles (very sharp) thorns & broken glass. We won’t stay there again, even checked out 2 days early.

We moved rooms twice and they were all dirty. There was no breakfast and the front desk was but helpful. It was gross. Definitely do not recommend.

We have stayed here before 3 years ago when my son was attending ASU, so we decided to stay here again while passing thru. Staff was polite, and while the property is dated, we weren’t too worried since we knew what to expect having been there before. While rooms were updated with paint and such, the property and room was worn and unkept. Our bathroom floor didn’t appear to be mopped, and we found several beer bottle caps under the wall air conditioner unit and two beside the bed. On a positive note, the backside of the hotel has access to a little grassy area of the lot, and it’s convenient for taking pups to potty. It was a bed and a place to catch a little rest on our trip home, but we will probably look for somewhere else if we find ourselves in San Angelo needing a place to stay thats pet friendly.

The floor in bathroom was dirty, half of the lamps did not have working bulbs, no wash rags were I the room and the manager had none to give me, the tub had peeling paint and needed refreshing. The outside walls and trim needed painting. We were very disappointed with the motel.

La Quinta Inn’s are always great to stay. Stayed at the king suite here it was nice but a hair unclean with a clothes tag here and some hairs in the shower on the wall that a shorter person wouldn’t notice. This La Quinta doesn’t have a “dog area” but there is plenty of space in front.

The person I checked in with (Dana) was extremely rude. Informed me that they're not doing the free breakfast and they don't do room cleaning. Wasn't about what was said but how it was said! This was a 14 day stay stay and we was told we had to clean, vacuum, re towel and change bedding but couldn't get a discount for our having to service our room!
In addition, when I called to get clean bedd9ng, I was told we have to wait till after 4pm because the empty rooms come first...lol!
The maintenance man and the housekeeping staff were VERY nice and not only provided us with clean towels, trash bags, etc. immediately upon request.
Housekeeping told me that they will change bedding and clean room if I call in the night before, before 9pm. Seems like the person I checked in with (Dana) should have said that instead of saying no one will claim the room.
While the room was clean it was VERY, VERY small, for one much less 3 people. There were other people who seemed to live there and we experienced, loud music, fights, drunken brawls, etc. It was horrible but was unable to get a refund when the accommodations were less than a basic motel. This was supposed to be a hotel. Ot was extremely run down and needed a lot of work. - TandyJul 12, 2020Easy stay!
We got great rice on handicap room with large bath and king size bed! Great for two adults and two large dogs! First floor, close to grassy area! Bring poop bags!

Room was clean although overdue for a renovation. A roll on dumpster was over filled waiting a pick up which added to the garbage flying around. Breakfast was ok and the location was short drive to San Angelo

Good location near many restaurants, ask for recommendations from the friendly staff at check in. Large comfortable room.
The hotel is a little tricky to get into because of the exit from 306, merging with frontage road. It was easiest to head west one exit then take the u-turn onto frontage road.
