The staff is nice but overwhelmed by the deplorable state of the hotel. There is an ongoing remodel which is many years past due. Other reviews suggest some rooms are nice. Not ours. Every wall, door, and floor is beaten, scarred and dirty. Our TV quit. Our bathroom fan shrieked. The bathroom was simply disgusting. I purchased two ice cream bars from the lobby store, both were melted. I stood in line at the front desk to return them behind several customers complaining of plugged drains and leaking pipes. My wife said the place gave her the "heebie jeebies." If you get room 324 don't even bother, just leave.

It was chaotic being New Year's Eve, but the staff handled it like pros. The room was clean and spacious. Their breakfast was good. I would have give five bones had they had a bigger outdoor space for the dogs. They have a small corner of grass with a poop station, but nothing else.

We stayed here for a total of 8 nights. It is under construction on all floors. Our room was recently upgraded but other rooms in the floor were still under construction. We had problems with fridge not cooling, lights in bathroom would flicker and turn off, shower was constantly dripping water and tv would turn itself off suddenly and the “tv guide” was incorrect so we had to guess what station/program we wanted to watch. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Hotel had roving security which I liked since emergency exit doors were not secure and often open with a stone so a key was not required for entry. Our dog loved the hotel cats that greeted everyone at the main entrance!

My pup & I had a nice quick stay here! Like other reviews, it's a pretty busy hotel but the area is safe and there is staff who patrols the parking lot at night to make sure your car doesn’t get vandalized. Would stay again!

This is a super pup friendly hotel. Employees are very attentive to all the guests, dogs or no dogs. Service uncommonly experienced these days, but it’s alive and well at this location. Our room was newly renovated and very clean. The hotel is in the midst of an upgrade, but it didn’t bother us at all or cause any inconvenience. Highly recommend staying here if you travel with your furry ones. Definitely stay here again when we travel to San Antonio.

The staff was wonderful and very pet friendly. We ended up having to re-book for 2 additional nights (we were moving our daughter to San Antonio and the a/c in her apartment was not cooling properly). The staff let us keep our room and re-book each day as we needed it! We didn't have time to use the pool but the breakfast was good. Just make sure you get there before the end of the posted hours because they take it up immediately! The room was very comfortable with laminate floors and comfortable bed. Location wasn't too far from my daughter's apartment but it can be difficult to spot the turn as you come off the exit ramp at night. Once we did it the first time we didn't miss it again..

The rooms were a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, and freshly made waffles. This was a good value for the money and I would definitely stay there again.

Hello, my name is Molly. I behaved very well, loved the accommodations, I learned exactly where our room was once my parents and I came out of the elevator. People gave me compliments of what a nice girl I am. Everything was wonderful. The ladies at the desk were very nice and friendly. Made mine & my parents stay a great experience. Thank you for allowing me into this very nice away from home 🏠 place. My parents said we would definitely stay at a La Quinta again. However, there isn't a grassy place, at this location, for me to do my 'business.' But it all worked out. Thank you. Love, Molly 🐕🦺

The prices are very reasonable for the accommodations. The hotel is dated, a little dusty, and not very modern, but for the price, as well as not having to pay any additional pet stay fees, it is well worth it. Especially if you want to be right across the street from the airport.

Pros: rooms are clean and comfortable, food convenience shop, DISH TV and pet designated areas.
Cons: pet areas are full of poop, no hot breakfast, WiFi doesn’t allow you to stream. I would have given it a 5 bone rating if they included a dog bed or some bowls like some other hotels do.
