Definitely not updated photos of the building. It was much more dated & not the cleanest. The bathrooms had mold & they just tried to cover the mold with new caulking. The dog area was a non-fenced muddy spot next to the freeway exit, lots of trash & no bags to pick up with. It wasn’t the worst but definitely not the best.

This hotel was in a great location to enjoy the Riverwalk. The hotel was very clean and they had a small dog relief area near the parking lot. There was also a hot breakfast bar.

This is probably the most reasonably price hotel near the Riverwalk. It's not necessarily on the river but it's in short walking distance. Check-in was a breeze thank you Jensen!

We ended up at this hotel after our other previously booked hotel on the Riverwalk changed their policy and did not allow pets after they told us they did. The room was decent but wish we had a better view than of the freeway. Was great with our pup though! The staff all loved him and there were ample locations for potty breaks all around the outside of the hotel. We were on the second floor but when bringing all our luggage and dog supplies up, the valets helped us unload and got us a luggage cart. Breakfast was wonderful and hotel is within reasonable walking distance to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. However for the price I would have expected it to be a little closer. With all that though I would most definitely stay here again if I needed a pet friendly hotel!

We wanted quick access to Riverwalk and the Alamo while staying in a pet friendly hotel. This hotel delivered all our needs, while offering a very comfortable room, bed and treats for our dog.

I thought I read on this hotels page that dogs can be left in the room unattended, but we had to sign a paper saying that we would not. That was a huge disappointment. The beds were horribly hard and just uncomfortable. The location was in walking distance to the river walk and Alamo, which was great!

Entry lobby was clean and bright. Desk staff checking in and out were not very friendly.
A breakfast sack is offered 7-9am.
Location is right against freeway.I will choose some other lodgings next time I am in San Antonio.

The hotel is clean and that’s about it. We booked this hotel because of previous reviews and was supposed to be dog friendly. The staff was rude upon entry, not accommodating for a room close to entrance being we had our fur kids. Can only access hotel through front entrance. Guest are not allow to use stairways or other entrances. There is an additional fee for parking and being we had 2 vehicles it was another $60 bucks on top of $90 room. The front desk staff that checked us in didn’t do correct paperwork so when we walked in she yelled at us through the lobby to fill out paperwork for fur kids. Mind you at check in we said we had fur kids. This was just humiliating. It wasn’t worth the price to just be close to river walk.

We had to evacuate and ended up staying here. When we arrived everyone was so welcoming! Made us feel comfortable and right at home. The room was fairly cheap! (I was shocked) clean and just what we needed! They said we could even leave our dog in the room while we went sightseeing (which we didn’t do but was a nice gesture.. she just tagged along with us) I will definitely book this hotel and hopefully next time it will be for vacation and not evacuation! It is within walking distance to everything!

So this is an actual hotel and was extremely nice. The problem is if you have to carry up a kennel or your belongings, you have a little walk from the parking lot, then you have to walk through the hotel, take the elevator up to the second floor, and then eventually walk to your room. I could do with a little less luxury and be placed on the first floor. Certainly was a luxurious room with a stove and sink

Dogs are actually welcomed, not just allowed. Our dog was allowed in lobby, treats given at check in. Very friendly staff. It was nice to be treated as if our dog was part of our family, not a nuisance. The hotel was very clean, room was nice and in walking distance to everything. We would definitely return.

The facility is very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. A great location, right across the street from the River Center. One thing you should be aware of is that if driving you will be charged a $24 + tax (a day) parking fee.

They were great with our dogs. Dog friendly, patient staff. The main issue we had though is that the beds were terribly uncomfortable. We could not stay both nights.
