I was not reimbursed the $25 deposit per dog. The lobby was under construction so there was no big breakfast w/waffles like the website said. The pool was GREEN & very dirty so we all didn’t swim in it. There were a few roaches, the air conditioners didn’t work right (coolest setting at 60 did not cool the room), and we got paper sacks for breakfast w/a honeybun, granola bar & a bottle of Sunny D all 3 days we stayed there. I chose them for their amenities & we received none!!!!!!

Can leave dogs unattended in the room. Rooms have composite wood floors, which we liked, just in case an accident happens. The hotel is older, but kept up relatively well considering its age.

BringFido had to request special permission for our 80 lb Airedale Terrier as their limit is 50 lb but the manager was great (he has Mastiffs at home!). He also gave us a great recommendation for dinner (instead of delivery, we opted for take out to explore the area a little bit). The hotel was very nice, even had a koi pond in front. We slept well & were refreshed to continue with our drive in the morning. I would return here if I'm in the area again.

We love La Quinta and how dog friendly they are! But this location is DIRTY. The room had fleas. Other guests were reporting bed bugs!! The floor was covered in gunk. The restroom was falling apart. There was copious amounts of women’s long hair on all the towels. We booked last minute, so we paid a lot - but this place was 20 dollars cheaper than La Quinta Downtown - our La Quinta of choice. I’m just putting it out there - please do not. It is not worth the fleas or bed bugs. The shaky toilet. The loose shower faucet. The pet relief area is at least pretty large - but there was no poop bags. At this La Quinta, you cannot have nice things. Just go to a different one.

I paid for a two night stay at the La Quinta Inn San Antonio Lackland. The room was so dirty that we left shortly after we checked in but with the BringFido no-refund policy, our mistake in booking with them was somewhat costly. The mini-fridge leaked water on the floor; the towel we used to soak up the water turned black from dirt on the floor; there was hair on the bathroom floor and counter, mold in the crack in the bathroom tile, the TV didn't work (nor could the maintenance man fix it), the bed was damp, and the hotel was surrounded by vacant boarded up buildings. This was our first - and last! - experience with La Quinta and Bring Fido.

We have never stayed at a more disgusting place. We usually love la Quintas. There was broken glass, kind of like mirrors all over the potty area. It was ridiculously dirty. Mold and mildew all over the shower. Dirty floors, everything looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Asked for non smoking and reeked of cigarettes. We cut our stay short because I’m not paying 60/night to have to shower in flip flops. Motel 6 and super 8 is cheaper and cleaner. Wish I could add pictures to show the extent of the grossness

We got one of the newly renovated rooms we were told and it did have new bedding and case work. Obviously a new mini fridge as the clear plastic that covers the front was just halfway removed. Dirty bathroom and damaged and dirty flooring. Damaged tiles around the tub and mildew caulk around tub. Was cheap only $58 a night.
