This is a very old motel. The room was clean, but furniture is old and the loveseat was a very worn vinyl. Only stayed one night as we were traveling through.

Rooms were nicely updated. Bed was very comfy. Front desk staff went out of their way to be nice. Outside of hotel and carpet in hall are dated, but do not let that deter you. Would definitely stay there again

Not the fanciest of lodgings but Van Horn is a quirky place and we are used to stopping at the Red Roof Inn. It's inexpensive.

My expectations were low based on previous Red Roof stays but this one surprised me. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Courtyard to walk dog. Really good breakfast. FANTASTIC friendly staff were so accommodating during the ice storm fiasco. This is the hotel I would choose in Van Horn. BringFido staff were also exceptional making multiple changes for me due to storm.

This is a very basic motel. The location is right off I10. It was clean but in need of a refresh. The television picture was like looking through Vaseline, very fuzzy. The pet area is in the middle of the courtyard, it is a filled in swimming pool. It was okay for a night, wouldn’t stay longer.

Lady at the front desk was very efficient and friendly, room was spacious and clean, stocked with soap, shampoo, extra towels and pocket Kleenex! Continental breakfast was great, had lots of grab and go options plus waffles, bagels, and hard boiled eggs!

Nice woman at check in. Room was pretty shabby, but given the price we paid, and only stopping to sleep, no complaints. It was very clean. No grass areas for the dog, only gravel. Area behind the motel has stickers so avoid that.

My wife and I plus our few animals spent one night here on our way from CA to TX. The room was clean, larger than I expected, and of course you can’t beat the price. The staff was very friendly. I had no issues. It is close to I-10 so we ran the HVAC unit on low fan as white noise to drown out the freeway. Slept like a baby and so did our fur babies

I have stayed at many Red Roof Inns so have a decent idea of what to expect. This didn't even come close. Key didn't work and had to go back to desk. Hallway reeked of smoke. Floor of room was gritty. Window wouldn't close completely. Remains of a dead insect on phone. Bed reeked of some strange scent. In fairness I think it was their detergent as bed looked clean but the smell was terrible. Honestly if I hadn't arrived so late, at midnight, and already been up since 4am I would have left and demanded my money back. I had a blanket in my car which I threw over the bed and dozed in and out until I got up and hit road in early morning hours. On positive...the desk clerk did walk me back to room to be sure the second key worked.

Excellent pit stop after a long drive. Dog friendly with no extra fee. Super clean room with lots of space. Hardwood floors with a small couch and desk too. Staff were professional and helpful. There's a Dollar General that's only a 3 minute walk away. Suggest stopping by RJ's Grill for a good meal.
