First off, the desk staff were very nice and helpful. I booked and paid for a king size bed. Motel does not have king size beds for pet rooms, so ended up in a double bed room. Room was clean but dated. We travel with three small dogs, so our options are limited.

I had a late arrival and check-in but still had a speedy process and guest services were helpful with any requests. My dog was comfortable and I felt safe. Thank you and we will stay here if ever in the area again.

Our stay with our cat was only for one night, but we wouldn't recommend. The bathroom had such a strong scent of mold/mildew that we had to close the door and hold our breath whenever we had to go in. Towels/sheets/couch were stained and nothing really smelled or felt clean. Additionally, the location itself didn't feel particularly safe, which was echoed when men were disrespectful to my fiancé and made her feel unsafe. We let the management know of our complaints and they were very apologetic, but next time I'd spend the extra couple bucks to stay somewhere else.

Rooms were large and clean. The vinyl flooring was great. The staff very friendly. Grass area to walk the dogs. Free WiFi and close to Roanoke center.

A very old and run down motel in a very sketchy location. I was misguided by some of the other reviews that made it seem like a good value, so I made a reservation to stay there. Having serious concerns when I saw the motel’s outside appearance, as soon as I walked into the room I knew I’d made a major mistake (absolutely everything about the room was horrible—it looked like a room from the movie Hostel) and wanted to cancel my reservation. The manager refused to refund my money, but I didn’t want to stay in that awful place, so BringFido found another hotel for me that was very nice, and only $20 more that the crummy EconoLodge. Please don’t believe that you’re getting a great value by staying here, Roanoke has plenty of other hotels that might cost a few dollars more but are a safer choice for your comfort and safety in the long run.

The location is pretty convenient if you are traveling the route 81 corridor. The room was very clean and had vinyl floors, which is great if you have a pet. No matter how well trained, pets frequently have an accident when in an unfamiliar place. I would stay here again if traveling with my pet. They allowed my 3 small dogs for an additional $10 each. Most other under $100 night hotels that I've stayed in with my pets have been gross. This one was not.
