Requested room close to door for 2 senior dogs. Stayed there on the way to NC then again on way back. At first checkout I asked for the same room the following week and they came through. It helped as it was familiar upon our return.

We walked to our room it smelled horrendous. I wish I could explain just how bad it smelled. My husband went to the front desk and was told they have absolutely no rooms available. About an hour later my husband goes to take a shower. There is absolutely no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. I slept in my clothes because it was so horrendous. Only good thing about this hotel is it was off the beaten path, didn't have to worry about our dog running in traffic, so I did appreciate that. But if humans cannot sleep because their room smells... I have no idea but it was so bad and I had one of the studios where I had a kitchenette and a living room that we literally had to close off that two areas and stay in the bedroom where it didn't smell quite as bad.

Room is clean and comfortable and near the exit to accommodate my pets. There is a grassy area to walk your dog. The hotel is also close by Ruth Rafferty Dog park (1.8 miles) if you want your dog to get more exercise.

Highly recommend! Passing through with 2 dogs and was lucky to find this gem!! Super clean room, friendly staff and the doggie courtyard was outstanding! Fenced in, direct access from inside hotel, well lit in the evening, very clean (provided waste bags) and I felt very safe during the night time potty runs!!

The hotel had a nice grassy area for dogs and they supply bags and trash cans. The room was spacious and love having a kitchenette and two bathrooms. The walls and floor were thin so heard our “neighbors” until 3 am so us and the pup didn’t sleep very well. We also only stayed 1 night as we are passing through and the pet fee was a bit high. $100 pet fee which doubled the cost of the hotel.

Hotel is hidden away from any main areas of Charleston, VA. Very quiet. The accommodations were very nice. The pet fee was a bit steep.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was way larger than I realized, and the price was great. There was lots of outdoor space to walk the pups. The staff was super friendly too. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Charleston.

I was a bit put-off by the draconian pet waiver that I signed at check in - but the staff proved to be welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Very appreciate of being booked into 1st fl room adjacent to an exit - easy pet in and out. A little remote - good down, around and up loop to exercise our two large Samoyeds. Recommended.

This is a wonderful hotel - great place to stay with a dog. The rooms have easy access to the outdoor pet area. We had dinner delivered to us from a nearby pizzeria.
