Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Hill City, SD

Quiet, well-behaved dogs are allowed at Horse Thief Resort, but they must be kept on a short leash when outside your vehicle. Pets are not allowed in cabins, any campground buildings, or swimming pool & enclosure. Owners responsible for cleanup anywhere. Proof of valid vaccinations is required. HTR Black Hills welcomes a maximum of two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $10 per pet. per night. There is no fee for RV/Tent sites. Dogs must be leashed when outside and may not be left unattended at any time.

Dogs are allowed at Big Pine Campground, but they must be kept on a leash (6' max length) when outside your vehicle. No pets allowed in the office, laundry/game room or showerhouses. Dogs may be left in your camper as long as there are not complaints of it barking. If your dog barks, you will need to take your dog with you when you're gone or take it to a doggy daycare. Pets are allowed in the camping area but not in the shower houses, pool area, cabins and rental campers. Do not leave pets tied up at the campsite while you are away enjoying the sites and attractions--nobody likes a barking dog.
