Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Sanford, ME

Huttopia Southern Maine allows 1 dog of any size for an additional fee of $22 per pet, per night. Sorry, no cats or exotic pets.

Spacious Skies Walnut Grove welcomes a maximum of two pets of any size for no additional fee in Camping and RV sites, and $25 per pet, per stay in select Cabins. Both dogs and cats are allowed. There is a dog park on the property.

Moody Beach RV Campground welcomes 2 dogs of any size for an additional fee of $10 per stay. Sorry, no cats.

Campsite rates are based on a family of four. Your pets are considered part of the family. Well-mannered pets of any size are welcome. Additional pets are $5 plus a 9% lodging tax per day.

Dogs are allowed at Sun Outdoors Wells Beach, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. No pets are allowed in buildings, cottage, cabins, or on beaches. Pets are allowed to swim at the boat launching area. Rabies certificate required.

Campground friendly dogs are allowed at Jellystone Park Lakes Region, but they must be kept on a leash (6' max length) when outside your vehicle. For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the beaches, playgrounds, ball fields or in campground buildings. Barking dogs are extremely annoying, so please be sure that they do not disturb other campers. Please do not leave your dog unattended outside your camper. Be sure to bring a current copy of your pet's vaccination certificates.

They are to remain tied on a durable chain or rope that will not allow the pet to extend off the site in any one direction. Pets should never be left unattended. The owner must clean up after his/her own pet. If the animal becomes a nuisance (barking, aggressive, owner not cleaning up after, etc.) you will be asked to remove it from the park.
