This photo was taken at Waterdog Lake Trail in Lake City, CO. About 2/3 of the way up, you will break out of the Aspens into an incredible view called the "Horse Pasture". Evidently years ago, wild mustangs ran loose here (so I was told). It is a wonderful reward for the steep path through the gorgeous Aspens and a great place for a lunch break.
