Dexter overlooking the painted desert

This photo was taken at Painted Desert Indian Center in Holbrook, AZ. Traveling cross country to Phoenix (from Indiana), we took a break off Interstate 40 in northern Arizona to do a little hike on the rim in Petrified Forest, specifically the painted desert. Absolutely worth the detour!!! Stunning and the trail was nice for the dog!
