Lamar Park, Oxford MS

Formerly the Oxford Country Club golf course, Lamar Park has been converted into a nature trail with vast expanses of green grass, new and established trees of many varieties, a pond complete with cattails and fish, manicured gardens, a few bridges, numerous benches, interesting man-made mounds, picnic tables and grilling sites. Dogs are not only allowed, they're encouraged, with a pooper scooper dispenser on the property.
