This photo was taken in Eastham, MA. This is our Haley Jan who rescued us back in 2007. While working as a vet tech she came in as an abuse case,severe fractured femur, owner could not afford surgery and signed off on euthanasia while crying and walked away. Haley stayed with her rear leg dangling and kissing away my tears. Looking in her eyes I knew she was coming home with me and after 4 surgeries and a completed rear leg amputation 8 yrs later she is still by my side helping me find serenity. She is a gift from God and her favorite place is the Beach. Because of Pet friendly hotels and beaches we are blessed to be able give her some serenity back by bring her with us on vacation so she can gaze out into the ocean and smile.
