It is the mission of Safe Place for Animals to provide the best care and temporary housing for unwanted animals, while trying to find them the best forever home possible. It is also the mission of SPA to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, promote spay/neuter and provide unique animal services to the community. They have helped over 6000 animals in the past 8 years with a 95% volunteer run staff and no government or local funding.
