    Run by nasty person

I would not leave a dead dog with the lady who runs this Association she is the rudest most unkind nasty person I've ever met my entire life

    Unprofessional and incompetent

We had fostered Samson after multiple temperament test by multiple people, with no problems of aggression for over 6 months. He spent over 200 days in the shelter and would go home with employees and stay with their families and NEVER had any issues. He had an unsuccessful transport to PNW and came back to Texas. We asked multiple times for him to come home where he was being fostered before he left so he could decompress in a familiar environment, but we were told no. He was kept there at the rescue in a small kennel that he could barely stand up and turn around in. They deemed him aggressive, but no precautions of putting a sign up or a muzzle on him. They allowed random people to walk him not knowing he was aggressive, and he ended up attacking someone. They had nothing to sedate or stop the incident other than using a fire extinguisher. At that point he couldn’t see or breathe from the chemicals. The police were called and he was shot three times in the head and killed. The rescue failed you.. RIP Samson 💔

    Heart, Soul, Vision, and Kindness!

I adopted my third dog, Leroy, from Three Little Pitties Rescue and the experience was amazing! They are so thoughtful, organized, and the adoption process is so simple and seamless for the adopters and the animals. They've thought of everything!

Something cool about Three Little Pitties is that the pets they take in from the streets, from death row, other shelters, etc. all get placed into foster homes or boarding where they're given the time to decompress. They receive all the medical treatment they need there, and the people they are with truly learn about the animal's personality so they can tell you so much information about the pet.

I recommend choosing Three Little Pitties as the place to adopt from; they adopt animals to Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Idaho.
